I searched the forums and nothing came up but I have a LG SJ8500 55” 4K TV and I can’t seem to get the settings right for the switch. Sometimes it looks blurry and other times ok. Anyone else have experience with this? What settings should I use or adjust?

Did you download the Owners manual to read through it? I would setup as Game option for the screen. That's what I did for my Samsung 32" and it looks fine. And did you set the motion blurr or the 120hz or at 60hz? If you don't read your manual there not much anyone can do since they aren't in front of your TV seeing it.

Yes I read the manual and I’ve looked online at other sources that’s why I was asking here.

@southernsoldier If we are going to help you we need more info:

1. Is there any pattern when the screen goes blurry? Like a trigger or something that seems to cause it?

2. Have you set the resolution on both the Switch and the TV to the same setting? Try manually setting both to 1080p.

3. Have you tested the Switch on another TV, or another game device on the original TV? If the Switch goes blurry on another TV as well, the problem probably lies with the Switch, however if another game system, like a PS4 or Xbone, goes blurry on this TV too, then the issue is likely the TV.

4. Have you tried other HDMI ports or cables?

Our setup on the TV was fairly simple it was right on the screen with the game demo running we just adjust to the Game Display option with motionblurr at 120 and it was fine. But I did use a quality HDMI cable not the OEM one. That could also be a problem if the HDMI is faulty.

Try different cables, ports on TV, docks, or even Switch if you can. Sometimes its the physical stuffs is the problem so let's find out if the physical stuffs is the problem first. Then we can go to the software part including settings.

Umm… Care to have some gravy?
