@Meteoroid I didn't put them on my list as they were ports to the 3DS, but I'd want both of those too!!

Kid Icarus Uprising is one of the easiest picks.
For something more obscure, I'd say Etrian Mystery Dungeon. The second screen was only used for the map and other minor things that could reasonably be added to the main screen. Not only would it be nice to have access to the game again (it got delisted from the eshop), it could even lead to/be released alongside a localization for the sequel.

It's a long shot but maybe Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon? I've never played it but it just seems like a good fit for a "Year of Luigi" celebration in 2023 (or maybe the original is better...).

Hope you're having a good day.

@Anti-Matter Is Lego City Undercover 3ds a different game than Lego City Undercover Wii U/Switch? I thought that was just a port of the Wii U console version. I'm aware the 3ds version had graphical limitations, but I thought the 3ds version was still mostly the same game as on the Wii U/Switch.

The fire emblem series, golden sun series, advance wars series and the bravely series comes to my mind. Some of these are DS and gameboy advance as well, but you get the idea.

Fantasy Life (the best mmo-lite not enough people played)
River City: Tokyo Rumble (love the Kunio-kun series, nuff said)
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call (music/rhythm rpg collectathon, a legendary game)
Castlevania: Lord of Shadows - Mirror of Fate (there's an HD port on PS3/360, why not Switch?)
Kid Icarus: Uprising (we got Skyward Sword with dual analog stick support, why not this?)

Switch Physical Collection - 1,251 games (as of April 24th, 2024)

@WoomyNNYes yes it's set before the wii u game. Its not bad, I think it suffered from folks either thinking it is the same game, or folks thinking it's just not as good as the wii u game.

There are some differences in LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER The Chase Begins:

1. The Chase Begins = prequel of LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER. It was focused on the first debut of Chase as a Rookie before he got fame in the sequel (console version).

2. The place is NOT Open World like console version. It separated into several different areas due to 3DS limitation. The places looks quite different in 3DS version due to timeline in the past and not every places from console version exist in 3DS version.

3. There is NO voiceover at all during gameplay even during cutscenes except FMV scenes.

4. The 8 different jobs in 3DS version are not really useful as the console version.

5. You cannot destroy most of destroyable objects in 3DS version such as cars and you need to hit the objects for 3 times before get destroyed.

6. The costume list in 3DS version are completely different with console version and unlike console version, you can change the hair color from the same hair model.

7. The 3DS version featuring a Red Brick that can help you to hunt every single unlockable things from the Map radar so you can complete the game by 100% easily than the console version.

8. The 3DS version only have 2 Save slots.

9. The Helicopter function in 3DS version just only to warp to different places quickly but you cannot literally use it to fly free roaming in the sky like console version due to 3DS limitation.

10. There was some characters was not present in 3DS version due to the storyline in the past.

Well, those are the differences that i knew so far from my experiences. The Chase Begins was my first 3DS game i purchased on 28 August 2013. It was my first time i purchased an Original video games software.

Aside from the obvious zelda and mario games, I'd love some of the Kirby games to come over. Along with some of the JRPGs that are on the system. But my most wanted would be luigis mansion even though it's a GC game.

I was asking Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode localization for ages now, but still didn't happen and knowing that for around year they no more making any new 3DS/2DS to sell while for months in Japan 3DS eShop no more takes credit cards. So now release of localized version of this game on Nintendo Switch feels as only possibility, plus this game is extended version of PSP version of this game, so porting to one screen won't be super hard.

I don't want a port but I would love a sequel to Kid Icarus Uprsing on Switch. And honestly most of the other releases people have mentioned either already have sequels/versions on Switch or were ports from something else in the first place. Would it be nice to have Ocarina of Time on Switch? Maybe. But if they did that it would be a HD remaster of Ocarina of Time not a port of the 3DS version

Mario & Luigi Dream Team-Haven't played this one but I love the Mario RPGs and they love to port them
Dragon Quest VII & VIII-They're expensive to try and knab now, but I'd love to play them portably.
