I feel like Nintendo would be too scared to do this, but "Super Switch" is so perfect. We're getting an iterative console here, why not do what worked best with the NES? It's a suped-up Switch after all! If they go with "New Switch" I'll lose it because that will only confuse people, and also "new" is super lame. 😅 Switch 2? Fine. Super Switch? Heck yea!
If between Nintendo Super Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 - they could go simple and leave the #2 as a next gen name numbering until the next iteration of Switch Arms would be coming up next in the future or something.

yeah i feel while the playstation names arent exactly creative at least they are clear compared to things like the "new 3ds" or whatever the heck is going on with Xbox.

wow, we have a debbie downer winner folks. Super Switch has nothing in common with what happened or what caused the demise of WiiU.
I think it will be a tossed up for Nintendo Super Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 for common sense people. NSS or NS2, I think a "2" will help mark it different along with different color scheme will make it different as well as a 8" LCD screen and maybe OLED option.
@SwitchForce actually I don't disagree with @SlamDunk22. Even though I personally prefer Super Switch as a name to honor their history, marketing is a fickle thing, and there are hundreds of nongamers (or maybe "not typical" gamers would be a better term) who could potentially be confused by the moniker. Switch 2 would certainly be safer. I just would like something more fun 😅
Not sure why people keep grabbing for empty straws that has no relations to Switch or next gen Switch consoles. How and why the WiiU became the ostracized child seem more to do with marketing didn't do it service and lead to it's own demise.

One of the less confusing names too. Actually pretty fine since it won’t be looking extremely different from the original Switch. Also helps avoid another Wii U situation.
This would be kinda like taking the PlayStation route of naming consoles.
