There’s been a lot of instant doom and gloom over tariffs. Within hours Vietnam has stated intent in ending them outright. If anything else happens I’ll update this post.

Somebody who is better able to talk about financial and sociopolitical minutia, please explain to JasonH the reasons why so much of what he wrote is absurdly wrong. The moment I read him compare other countries' tariffs to the USA as "raping and pillaging" their poor superpower nation, my mind kind of went blank and I put him on ignore immediately.
You’re spot on. It does not benefit the U.S. to face unreciprocated tariffs for reasons to complicated for a Nintendo fan site.
Also the only other place of interest I regards to the Switch 2 is Japan which makes the game carts. The only thing the Japanese government has said in the matter is that we won’t have to wait long for their response and their already in talks with the U.S.
