Topic: Nintendo US will send out invitations to preorder on May 8th

Just went back to Nintendo's webpage where you can sign up with your desire to pre-order the Switch 2: https://www.nintendo.com/us/gaming-systems/switch-2/how-to-buy/.

And I noticed that they say that the first batch of invitations to buy it will go out on May 8th, 2025.

This info is listed under the heading: "When will I be notified about my invitation to purchase Nintendo Switch 2?"..."The first batch of invitations will go out starting May 8, 2025, with additional batches of invitation emails sent periodically until purchasing on My Nintendo Store is opened to everyone."

I hadn't seen this announced anywhere else, and not sure if its new info from originally or recently updated.

@Magician I registered long time ago when announced but no confirmation it even went through???

@Jester676 If you go to the link in the first part, there’s a green box on that page that says when you registered.

@Pirate1 Not talking about the email to purchase, I am talking if the registration was even acknowledge that it was registered. That can't be that hard for them to auto reply saying back your registered and if you qualify it will get the invitations. That would tell if one did it right or not but it doesn't mean that you qualify.
