I registered and noticed that the mario kart bundle is listed as fall release, not release date. The website and direct made it seem like they would come out at the same time.

@FishyS I'm Kind of hoping that if you register on day one, you will get to order on day one, lol. But ultimately, if I have one by the time Donkey Kong comes out, then I will be happy, lol.
I am...unperturbed. If the email comes later than May8th, I'm alright with that. No rush.

@Elitepatriot As nice as that would be, I'm guessing they won't work all the way through their queue until 2027, knowing how new console launches typically go.
@link3710 I work night shift and was able to look at Walmart last night and snagged a preorder. Nintendo needs to allow people to remove themselves from that Nintendo online queue, lol so I can help others out.

I'm in the same boat - I managed to get one from Gamestop in-person.
But from what I understand, as soon as Nintendo sends us the invite email (if, obviously), we'll have the option to say "no thanks." And at the very worst, the invite expires after like 72 hours or something.
Checked my email yesterday. Did not get a lottery response from Nintendo.
Woe is me.

If only the page of the Mario kart bundle or non bundle you suggested interest in, if it says "invite pending" then you've received an invite whether you got the email yet or not. If it says "invite required" you have not been invited and no matter how long you wait you have not got an invite during this wave.

I thought for 100% certainty I'd get an invite. I've been subbed to NSO since the very beginning, I have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of gameplay hours logged.
Well based on threads in reddit and resetera, new people have got invites on the second day. So maybe people who didn't order in the first wave when they got the email were rolled over into invites for yet more people?
So don't lose hope, maybe you'll get one shortly.
Im just worried about my Gamestop preorder. I preorderd at this one Gamestop, and right as everyone was ordering their Switch 2s at the counter the manager says "by the way this store is closing before the switch 2 launch, so all your switches will be at the other store in town. You can finish paying off your preorders and pick em up at launch there "
I dont know if I'll show up and they'll be like "whoa system says you didn't order at this store, sorry we gotta serve our customers first"
