Topic: Nintendo Switch 2 Needs More Themes

Hello Nintendo Team, I’m a longtime Nintendo fan, and I wanted to share some feature ideas that I truly hope you’ll consider for the Nintendo Switch 2. One of the things I really miss from past Nintendo systems is StreetPass and SpotPass. StreetPass made going out with a Nintendo system feel exciting and social, and SpotPass helped the system feel alive with updates, notifications, and surprises. Bringing these back in a modern way would add so much personality and charm to the Switch 2 and help it feel more connected to the real world again. I also really miss Miiverse. It was such a fun and positive way for players to share drawings, thoughts, and experiences directly inside Nintendo games. It made games feel more social without needing outside apps, and it felt uniquely Nintendo. A modern, well-moderated version of Miiverse would be amazing. Another feature I’d love to see return is downloadable themes. Being able to customize the home menu with themes based on Nintendo characters and games made the system feel personal. I think downloadable themes should be available directly on the eShop, just like on previous systems, so players can customize their console the way they want. Nintendo has always been special because of its creativity and personality, and these features really helped show that. I hope you’ll consider bringing them back in some form for the Nintendo Switch 2. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for all the great memories you continue to create.
