@JaxonH couldn’t agree more about GTA6, I’ve been thinking the same for a while. I get that it’s a big deal but there does seem to be a sentiment that the world will stop when it releases / basically every holiday release this year is doomed to fail.

I seriously doubt that Nintendo would delay a release due to another game (GTA6) - that just doesn't seem to fit with how they operate. Now, if the game was coming to Switch 2, I could see them adjusting schedules to not have a conflicting release date, but not move out of the GTA launch window.

I bought PS5 day one, but I'm done with PS now. Not that it isn't a well made console or anything. They just no longer make exclusives that interest me. Not that I was ever big on their exclusives in the first place, but at least they had some, like Gravity Rush series.

And more than that, a lot of 3rd party exclusives which really isn't the case anymore. Used to be if I wanted to play Tales of Zesteria or Berseria, I needed a PS. If I wanted to play Ni No Kuni 2 or Valkyria Chronicles, I needed a PS. If I wanted to play Trails series or Persona, I needed a PS.

None of that is true anymore.

I've always preferred Nintendo's games, but was missing those 3rd party titles. Now with Switch 2, I get my Nintendo games, my 3rd party games, I get them as console quality releases on the TV and as high quality handheld versions on the go. It's everything I need. And as I get older, the less I want to deal with multiple platforms. I prefer just one main platform where I play all my games. And if I miss out on a few here and there, oh well. Life will go on. I don't need to play every single game in existence. Heck I can't even keep up with what I have.

But even if I were interested in another PS, ain't no freaking way I'd be paying $700 for a digital-only base PS6. Have we lost our minds? This isn't PC gaming. Since when are we okay with these kinds of outrageous prices?!!

And that's exactly what the $900 Pro is all about. It's conditioning their fanbase to think a $700 PS6 is a "great deal". They'll say, "oh wow! A PS6 is way stronger than the $900 PS5 Pro, and for $200 less, what a deal!" Mark my words. Those will be the headlines. And that will be the narrative. But I've long since wised up to this nonsense.

If Nintendo jacked the price of NS2 up to $700 just before releasing the NS3 at $600 to seem like a bargain, I'd tell em to kick rocks too.

The way ppl talk about it you'd think there was gonna be a worldwide recognized holiday for its release or something. Like... it's just a video game. And one that mainly targets normies at that.

@JaxonH Wonder Sw2 supports both local and online (with people on your friend list through Gamechat) Gameshare, up to 4 players in both cases.

You are able to play through the entire main game this way as well as the minigames, except for (I believe) the online only ones.
