What did I just witness in a trailer just dropped on Nintendo Today?

Oh, some sort of new app. Pictonico. Looked interesting, so I pre-registered on the Play Store.

It has been quiet here... maybe a lack of interest in random mobile app?

But this does tell us that Nintendo really wants to push the app. Expect more announcements and updates this way.

Since we're in the Switch 1's twilight, I often wonder if we'll get any more miracle ports?

The end-of-life portion of a console usually presents a gem or two.

Both the Super Mario 40th and Pokemon 30th Anniversaries have brought some classic ports (with Galaxy 1+2 and FireRed/LeafGreen respectively). If Nintendo decides to celebrate Zelda's 40th Anniversary, we could possibly get either Twilight Princess HD or A Link Between Worlds HD.

Nintendo usually has something after reviews when they lift review embargo before Wednesday like how Pokopia reviews was on a Monday because Indie World was on Tuesday. It'll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow considering Yoshi reviews were today.

That would be dope.

I remember zippo "leaked" that an Uprising remaster was in the works, but that was...four years ago.

@Magician For all we know, it was made 4 years ago and Nintendo have sat on it ever since

While there is still time for it to be sent out, the apparent lack of a Spring 2026 Undertale/Deltarune Newsletter may point to a Chapter 5 release date announcement in the June Direct.

Turns out today's announcement was Sony announcing a State of Play for June 2nd. Seems like no Nintendo news until usual mid-June general Direct slot then.

I was hoping for summer post-June to be filled with 3rd party games but I guess I was too optimistic.

my prediction is after xbox presentation but before star fox, so it can be promoted again (possibly same with Elliot too).

@RobLife1 In the post-E3 era, Nintendo completely avoided the first 2 weeks of June so I'd imagine it would be June 17th/18th considering Star Fox releases in the final week of June.
