Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

Still nothing?

check out the 10 minutes of gameplay of Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

The next one could be a full direct for Tears of the Kingdom, but I'm less sure now. We just saw some gameplay and the game is out in only about 5 weeks so the window is closing.
Whether or not we get a Tears of the Kingdom Direct in April or May, I do think we'll get a June Direct even though it won't be branded E3 (that died after 2021).

Considering the recent gameplay presentation was a YouTube upload rather than livestreamed, it's clear the more muted marketing for TotK is intentional in order to avoid spoilers. I think we'll get a new trailer for the game sometime in mid-April and maybe another gameplay presentation upload, but no Direct for the game.

We'll get a Partner Showcase in June most likely... maybe a regular Direct Mini which is basically a Partner Showcase with a couple 1st party headlines tacked on.

@IceClimbers @LuigiTheGreenFire or Nintendo could do another gameplay demontration showing the undeground exploration and a brief look at a Dungeon/shirne

So this is how it ended:

We're not getting a Partner Showcase in June. Maybe a Mini, but with nothing on the release schedule after Pikmin, we need some games to get announced

Wasn't there a rumor about a zelda totk direct happening today

@NintendoByNature Probably, along with one happening yesterday, tomorrow, and every day up until the release date

@NintendoByNature There’s always rumours about some kind of Direct happening most weeks but I doubt there’ll be any Directs specifically for TotK now they did that 10 minute video.

@NintendoByNature Well, you were partially right, though it's a 3 minute trailer and not a Direct (and it's tomorrow)

That dork Nintendo Prime predicted the direct would happen for weeks, but he said specifically it would happen sometime two days ago now, so he took his sorry self to twitter and said it was an accident, a goof! He doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about so I’d just see if that so called direct happens at all at this point, cause it just doesn’t seem that way.

Edit: wow, he was dead wrong. It’s just a final trailer. What a fool. I hope we see if ganondorf is in this game though. I like him

@Kirbo100 Oh wow, look at that. Pretty crazy timing. Hopefully this trailer brings us some of the hype like the 2017 BOTW trailer did.

Final trailer? Fair enough. I will enjoy laughing at those Nintendo rumors YouTubers at their grief and sorrow however. I can see it now: “Nintendo has LOST their minds! DIRECT UNCONFIRMED!?!?!?”
