Hi All,
I have posted this in the main SW2 thread & bugs thread, but feel it warrants a seperate one so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. I have tried these and so far I am seeing it being slightly better.

Nintendo Switch 2: How to Improve Battery Life

===============================================================

Head to System Settings > Display and adjust these to boost battery life:

Brightness: Lower it manually or turn on Auto-Brightness.

HDR: Turn OFF—it looks nice, but eats power.

Refresh Rate: Disable 120Hz unless you’re playing docked with a high refresh monitor.

Resolution: Cap it at 1080p in handheld mode.

RGB Range: Use “Limited” instead of “Full” to save extra juice.

Sleep Timer: Set it to 5 minutes handheld and 10 minutes docked to reduce idle drain.

📶 Manage Connectivity and System Load
Even small background features can nibble away at your battery. Try these:

Disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when offline.

Close background software or paused games.

Avoid running downloads or updates while playing.

Use Battery Saver Mode if available (check under System > Battery Settings).

Thanks for this! Just did some tinkering and some of these options certainly help to slow the battery drain, but I need to do a proper test over the course of a couple hours.

No problem. Yes, needs more testing, but my initial thoughts are it seems a tad slower to run down the life playing N64 online at least.

So far so good. Doing all the above really slows the drainage.
Yes, there will be some you will want to keep as it is at times, but incorporating at least a few should help.
