I can not for the life of me find an answer to this.
I own a switch 1. I get a switch 2. I own a digital copy of tomodachi life. I don’t remove the digital game card from my switch 1 so it’s still “in” my switch 1. I get a digital copy of Pokopia. It’s “in” my switch 2. Can I play on my switch 1 tomodachi life. While simultaneously playing on my switch 2 Pokopia?
I ask because I would like to play Pokopia but also my gf is holding my switch hostage to play tomodachi life leaving me switchless. And I don’t see a reason to get a switch 2 unless I can play on my account Pokopia while she plays on my account on my switch 1 tomodachi.
Generally speaking, if the consoles are connected to internet, the system won't allow the same nintendo account to be used on two consoles at once. It's nintendo's anti piracy and security.
Yeah what the other commenter said. Switch doesn't allow you to play digital games whether it's the same game or a different one on the same account on a different Switch if you have another Switch on already. It's extremely annoying especially if like me you like to trade with yourself in Pokémon games. I feel this crap should be removed ASAP as I payed for these Switch systems and games and I am NOT a Pirate. I should be allowed to use them as I see fit as just as long as my activities on the systems are legal.
