Topic: 8Bitdo Controller Adapter on Switch 2?

So, I've been trying to connect a Hex Gaming Ultimate PS5 controller to my Switch 2 via the 8Bitdo controller adapter. I got a friend to update the firmware. Now, I search for the controller on Switch 2 with the adapter connected to the USB port (I search on the change grip/order screen), and the PS5 controller in search mode, and what happens is that the controller rumbles signalling it's connected, and the light on the adapter turns solid, yet the Switch page doesn't update with a connected controller. There's no sign on the Switch 2 that it's connected and I can't use the Hex Gaming controller on the system. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Contact 8bit support as that is their controller to resolve issues connections with.

@sethfranum Thanks. I've just messaged them. I wondered if anyone has had similar issues and if there's an obvious solution that I'm overlooking. A potential cause is that I thought that the adapter was an 8bitdo controller adapter 1, whereas it has a 2 on its design. Could it be that I've updated the firmware incorrectly? Thanks.
