Dumb, but not likely to matter much. The whole Creators Program thing doesn't seem to stop YouTubers from doing whatever they want. Most ignore its existence entirely.
Cant possibly image why this is given recent things /s
I don't blame em. Distance from that possibility as far as humanly possible is a wise move given its liability. Just ask Disney.
Doesn't prevent the program from being an issue, but at the same time the YouTube ship is sinking.
I had a video claimed (Not by Nintendo), so money went to the claimant. Thing was, it was also deemed advertiser unfriendly, which then screws the claimant out of money, and they requested a review, the results of which have yet to be seen. No matter what side you are on, using Content ID is a failing system. Being an advertiser is a failing system, being a creator is failing and becoming harder with each day.

@BLP_Software You can cheat the system by triggering multiple content ID claims. Show some Nintendo footage, a Konami and a Square Enix game, and watch as several companies all place a claim on your video. The result is that none are able to claim the video.
@Octane I dont have to do that anymore due to being advertiser unfriendly they dont get anything even if they do claim it XD
@IceClimbers And yeah. Specifying live streams? Bit if a hint as to exactly why they made this decision. Live is not able to be reviewed. Live just happens. What happens live cannot be undone.
