Topic: LEGO Star Wars the Skywalker Saga

@jump I remember playing Lego Marvel Avengers when it came out on PS3 and there was a really bad glitch where everytime you went to Asgard, the game would instantly crash. I updated it to the current version and nothing was fixed. It left a bit of a salty taste in my mouth to put it mildly.

Really interesting games, but I think you have to like one of the two universes without hating the other.

Can Princess Leia be unlocked without buying the Classic Character Pack DLC? Is it the same Leia without the character pack?

I'm getting this game for my nieces.

Has anyone played the sequel trilogy yet? I didn’t like the movie versions and I’ve been putting off playing the game levels, I completed all the other levels already… :/

How is this games open world? I want to get it but I’m not sure if it’s worth it full price?

@Snatcher Trust me, you should get it. It is definitely the best LEGO game by far and the LEGO games are amazing. The open-world is pretty good, but not quite BotW level.

@minecraftemery And its open worlds for every game right? all I have seen was open worlds for the prequels?

@Snatcher Yes, there are open worlds for all 9 movies, and after you beat them you can free travel through the planets.

@DarthNocturnal @Snatcher @minecraftemery @WoomyNNYes Sorry to @ spam you all, but I'm wondering if any of you (or anyone else lurking) happen to know how many different physical versions of this are available for Switch and what the differences are.

I know there were deluxe editions with the Luke mini-figure etc which all sold out on release I think, but what I'm particularly interested in is that I've seen a standard version case, and then I've seen the same version, but with a Lando sticker on it referring to to some DLC included. Are they one and the same release and they all come with an included DLC code/s, or should I look out specifically for the Lando sticker on the case?

I need to order a copy this week for a gift. Thanks.

@DarthNocturnal Thank you. I've done a bit more digging myself since my last post. I think the Classic Character pack dlc was an Amazon exclusive in the UK. But it seems that dlc pack can be bought for about £2.50 anyway, so isn't worth paying much extra for unless you're desperate for the Lando sticker on your case...

...actually, it looks like the sticker is on the outside of the cellophane wrapping around the case, not on the case itself anyway.

@gcunit Oh, I didn't actually get the game. In post #66 above, I was asking about Skywalker Saga character/dlc, because my brother was going to get the game for my nieces. They bought digitally.

OMG what a ***** show of a game. I downloaded it on Xbox since it became available on Gamepass. I really enjoyed Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 and several of the other Lego games but this one is complete garbage.

First of all unlike previous games this one is not multiplayer friendly you are more of a hindrance to each other which is a big disappointed to me. And then the other thing what the ***** did they do with the camera in this game. Who thought having the view so close to your character was a good idea?? Why is it necessary to have the view practically right up your character's ass???

And then the submenus OMG. Did someone actually think I would rather scroll throw a hundred submenus then play the game?? It took me 5 minutes to find where to buy stuff from with those bricks I was finding.

Yep Gamepass definitely saved me money here to think I was going to buy this bedshiiter for my son and I to play for Christmas.

What a complete joke of a game. Maybe they should take the time and play Lego Starwars one and see why that was so good and just copy that formula.

So even though the games roster is massive plus there’s dlc characters too the first character I look up to see if is the game or not isn’t in the game. Lol

Shame as I watched Saw Gerrera in Rogue One and wanted more of him.
