For those of you that pre-ordered Fatal Frame through Game i hope you are not once again like me going through the travesty that is their ordering service!!!
As with the previous two pre-orders, they have cancelled my order and then charged me again twice, how is this company so awful at this??
and i have never received even so much as a sorry email from them on any occasion.
@Tasuki: News can be anything noteworthy and the fact that Game have once again done this I'd consider noteworthy. Also op could just be trying to warn people.
It gets worse, they have now charged my card twice but still cancelled the order.
why do you shop at GAME? stop supporting them. they are bad for video games and bad for gamers.
in the US there is GAMESTOP. in australia there is EB GAMES. in the UK there is GAME. you must never support these companies. there is no reason to do it. games are not cheaper there. their stock is not any more reliable than other big chains that sell video games. there is no excuse.
It's not as easy as just not buying from them. In the UK, asides from Nintendo's own website which sold out pretty quickly, they have exclusive distribution rights for Project Zero: Maiden Of Black Water. If you want a physical copy now, you have no choice but to buy from them whether you like it or not.
@martinskrtel37: they hold all the exclusives for the limited edition versions of most of the wiiu releases. although the Nintendo store does offer them , they are in usually very limited supply and sell out immediately.
Ah, OK....they must have had some cancellations or a bit of a restock then. I remember people complaining that it was sold out within about 2 hours of the preorders going live so I just assumed the only other place to get it was Game.
I've also heard that people were having trouble finding it on shelves even at Game last Friday too. Hopefully if Nintendo now have more copies available, anybody who wants it can just bypass Game completely as they're awful
Game UK gave me my copy a day late! Not as bad as your issue but still not very impressive!

@DoctorOverbuild: As of this moment in time nobody has once again even bothered to email me in response to my problem, nor have they ever before. I am know forced to waste my time speaking to paypal and then Barclays legal teams who will eventually clear up the mess and refund me my money.
I am actually going to stop ordering at GAME now. I've had three experiences and three failures. Mass effect 3 CE got cancelled a few weeks before release, so couldn't get that anywhere else, the Splatoon amiibo pack lorry going walkies, and now Project Zero which I still haven't actually got lol.
