@Aozz: Yeah, especially as Hyrule Warriors Legends (a game that really needed to be New 3DS exclusive) is on the weaker 3DS model too.

I wouldn't be surprised given that the New 3DS does effectively have double the CPU horsepower. It is certainly not an upgrade in many of the other aspects but on that one point it is. Though I think that ship has sailed. I'd expect proper cross-buy to be announced more than SNES games on the New 3DS and I'm not really expecting that either.

They released a full trailer. Then they showed 5 minutes of gameplay. Then... complete radio silence.

Usually, when a game gets delayed for a definite time period, information doesn't stop showing up. It might slow down, but it won't completely disappear for a full year.

I predict there's gonna be a lot of people unhappy with the direct, especially Wii U players.

@WebHead: I agree but only because there seems to be lots expecting Zelda U footage.

@Grumblevolcano: I just want it to be June 14th already. I'm just watching for boredom and reaction. ATM regarding Nintendo if it's not nx then I don't care.

@WebHead: I'm not looking forward to that date, already have the feeling that the NX is going to be some gigantic disappointment. So like the Wii U in its first year or the 3DS in its first 2 years.

Never seen such pessimism and negativity surrounding something that was created to excite and be optimistic about than what has been posted over the last couple of pages here. I'll take my sunshine and rainbows elsewhere then, mabye I'll be back in 10 hours, though by then it'll be past midnight so I dunno.

If rumors are to believed, that is my fear too. I REALLY don't want a hybrid.

Well it was iwatas fault for announcing codename nx prematurely. He did not factor in the Osborne effect. They longer they are silent, the less interested people become. And the higher expectations get.

Announcing the NX early was probably better than not saying anything when Nintendo announced their mobile plans. Lesser of two evils, kind of thing

@DefHalan: and I maintain a simple" we will stay in hardware post Wii U and 3ds. Will be discussed when the time is right" would have sufficed.

@WebHead: I think a lot of people would still be saying Nintendo is leaving the hardware market, if they didn't announce new hardware

If speculation is true and Yo-Kai Watch 2 releases in the US within a month or two of Pokémon Sun and Moon, things are going to get messy and Yo-Kai Watch's success outside of Japan will take a fatal blow since it's already not doing as phenomenally as Level 5 thought after hitting big in Japan.

What the fronk?! Is that Rhythm Thief music on the Wii U eShop in North America?! Possible reveal, perhaps?!

The Wii U eshop music in Europe is the shop music from Twilight Princess.

Ugh, If I lived on the West Coast I would only have to wait two more hours. But alas, I must wait a whole seven.

It's probably unhealthy to get excited about every direct, as it seems they disappoint every time, but I can't help it...
