Topic: 2016 Nintendo Directs Discussion - September 1st 3DS Direct Confirmed!

From my research, it appears that the Navajo Nation, some of which is located in Arizona, does observe daylight saving.

And it's not daylight savings. It's daylight saving.

Oh, its only Splatoon content.
Meh.

Here's my predictions:

So, I'm not expecting Zelda U OR the Smash Ballot today, though I do have an inkling feeling that we're going to get a big update for Splatoon tomorrow! They're probably going to stay secretive with Zelda U til; E3, since they're being this quite about it already, and I think they need more time to create the new Smash Ballot character, so that they can reveal him/her/it/them with a proper CGI trailer. But Splatoon's usual Friday weapon update moved to Wednesday? Direct on Thursday? It's just too fishy!

I'm also putting my money on Project Giant Robot/Guard and Twilight Princess HD.
Nintendo isn't going to do F-Zero anytime soon. A new 3D Mario, Pikmin, or Metroid is probably being saved for NX (even if the NX is 2 years away), especially Metroid, what with Federation Force being released. I could be wrong about Mario on NX, but it's probably not going to be shown this Direct.

I think the rest is going to be filled with extra information on upcoming titles that have already been publicly confirmed. Maybe Pokken Tournament, Amiibo Festival, HW Legends, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Paper Jam.

@Nicolai: Well a new Splatoon map was just leaked, so we're definitely getting a new Splatoon update. Fingers crossed for playable Octolings!

I don't even know if that counts as a leak, lol. It's like if a new Smash Character was "leaked" by being automatically updated onto everyone's consoles. This was practically broadcasted, lmao

I'm also EST, and it starts at 5 for me. At least, that's what I copied down from the NL article.

Google "Pacific time" and it will tell you the current hour in that time zone. Then just do the math.

They will probably reveal a new Splatoon map and possibly Minecraft.

Honestly, I just want one thing completely out of left field. Like, TurboGrafx games on eShop immediately after the Direct ends. Just give me one totally crazy thing and then the rest can all just be expounding on stuff we already know about. Star Fox and the like.

To be completely fair, Minecraft Wii U Edition and Twilight Princess HD wouldn't have been predictable if it wasn't for leaks.

Apparently yacht club is going to have a ama (is that what they are called) on reddit after the direct. I saw this a few posts down on their Twitter feed.

Maybe some more amiibo support for the game, or a release date for the Shovel Knight amiibo (Which to my knowledge hasn't been given).
