Topic: Wii U Yellow Light won't turn off

My Wii U has had the yellow light come on, then it stays yellow all night. When I turn the Wii U on, it says that the Gamepad is not synced with the system.

Any ideas why this is happening now? I bought my Wii U at launch, and never had any problems until this week.

software update, standby mode, re sync yer gamepad etc.

I've had something like that before with the yellow light being stuck on. Turning the power off then on again on the Wii U console sorted it out for me.

Try blowing dust from the side vents.

I got a new surge protector and unplugged the Wii U for a few minutes.

I remembered that the surge protecter I was using had given me problems on other electronics, so I changed it to be safe.
