There's this strange thing with my Switch OLED screen where pixels on the very right side of the screen seem to "reflect" the pixels on the very left side. This is only most visible in areas colored in ranges of gray and would otherwise be undetectable in any other color, and not every pixel is "reflected" to the right, only brighter colors.
For example, in the video I posted below, the logo of Pac-Man World is "reflected" to the very right side of the screen when the letters go out of frame on the left side of the screen. It seems to be only visible in shades of gray or black, so if the right side is displaying other colors, it's practically invisible. It might be difficult to see in the video, but if you look really closely, you can see a white line light up. Looking very closely in person, you can make it out to be the letters of the Pac-Man World logo.
I don't know if this has been a thing with my Switch OLED since I've got it 8 days ago and never noticed, but I did complain about it having a raised area on the right side, which I doubt has anything to do with it, but I digress.
It doesn't only open in one spot of the right side, but the entire very edge of the right side. Doesn't seem to happen on the left.
I do keep my Switch OLED in a third party carrying case with an uncomfortably tight strap, so that could have been a cause.
Then again, this issue can't be noticed during normal use and I doubt anybody else would have noticed it for a long time if they weren't obsessively looking for faults like I was (I have severe OCD)
Could this be a normal OLED issue that I'm not aware of or is this somehow damage? If it is damage, will it get worse over time? It's very possible this has always been there since I first bought the console.
@Lipiah1966 I watched the video, and I'll say it looks normal. I think that's just inherent to the edge pixels of the OLED switch screen when things on the screen move. Screen producing companies spend billions trying to prevent bloom and bleeding. Screens aren't perfect machines, and yours edge looks as nice as mine when the home screen scrolls. My OLED screen is three years old at this point. I don't expect what you see to get worse.
I had a launch switch with the LCD screen, and in a comparison, that screen did not have nice crisp defined edges like the OLED has.
@WoomyNNYes well, if it's normal, then that's a relief. It's just strange how the left edge of the screen is sort of projected on the right edge, like how and why does that happen?

Also, just to clarify, your own Switch OLED also has the very left edge of the screen 'project' to the very right edge of you look really closely enough and it hasn't gotten worse in three years?
If so, then I'm guessing this is definitely just an OLED quirk that I was never meant to notice.
