So as a kid, I vividly remember playing Azada and I absolutely loved it. Sadly, a few years ago, the Devs stopped updating the app so my family I could no longer play it on our iPad. Recently, I’ve been scouring the internet to hopefully find some way to play Azada again, and I came across it on STEAM. My family and I have no experience with STEAM, so I’m wondering whether or not Azada will work on any device with STEAM, or if I need a certain device/software version to play the game. I’m hoping to surprise my dad with this game for Christmas as he talks about it quite often; however, I don’t know if it will work or not.

Thank you so much in advance for your help 🙏

Short answer is you need a computer to play it on steam.

Slightly longer answer is, you need a computer to play it on steam, or a Steam Deck handheld gaming device. Alternatively you can also stream it from your computer to most tablets or phones over WiFi via the Steam Link app (however this is still it being played on the computer, steam deck only allows you to control and see the game on your tablet/phone).

So as you can see unless you get a steam deck or a tablet capable of running windows, then you basically need to play it on a standard personal computer.

Edit: and as you mention, it is an older game that is not being updated anymore, be aware that even on steam it might have specific requirements to be compatible with your computer.

Another option for you, if you’re willing to spend on a used/refurbished device, would be to look for an older iPad. Since you already have the license to the game and the problem is that your device is “too new”, then you might very well be able to redownload it on an older device if you log into it.

Ok, that would make sense. I have a Microsoft computer that runs the newest version of windows (or at least windows 10) would the game work on there or would it need to run an earlier version of windows?

Thank you for your help! I might look into the iPad if the computer won’t work.

@SmashBall35 Steam has its own forums. In this instance you may be best off looking there.

@SmashBall35 the steam page says it requires an older version of windows, but you could definitely buy it, try it out, and get a refund in case it doesn’t work.

You can get a refund no questions asked as long as you haven’t played the game for over two hours.

I didn’t know that! I’ll try there, thank you!

@Eel
Thank you! In that case I’ll maybe just buy it and try it out, haha!
