What does this mean? After one month of not being able to play my Switch, (the charger port failed, if you saw my topic about my Switch not charging, that's that happened.) It got fixed, and it's fine and functioning again. And thankfully, they didn't have to do any system wiping at the repair place so all my data, including my almost 200-hour Animal Crossing New Horizons save file is safe, nothing is gone, corrupted, or broken. However, when I got back home and attached the Joy-cons, I noticed that the left one wasn't responding and said "battery depleted" when I attached it. I have no idea what this means, and about 130 USD went into the repair of my Switch, and I don't want to spend any more money on fixing stuff for it. I have a spare left Joy-con, but A, it drifts, and B, it says the exact same thing. Is there a way to fix this, or...?
The queen of video game-related emotional breakdowns! :D
@AlulunaToons If a rechargable battery spends all it's energy, it can take a while of charging before it will let you power it on again. A lot of rechargable electronics are like that. Have you left the joycon to charge for 30 minutes? Just want to be sure that's not the issue. Forgive me if you've ruled that out.
"The recharge LED on the AA battery pack will light up when the Joy-Con is being charged. It will shut off under the following conditions:
When the Joy-Con is fully charged and it is no longer receiving a charge. Power will still be supplied to the Joy-Con, but the recharge LED will not light up.
When the batteries in the AA battery pack are depleted.
If either the Joy-Con or the batteries are incorrectly inserted in the AA battery pack.
