If you have a theory about Zelda, or interesting fact, share it here! Spoilers are fine, just make sure to put a warning for those who don't want to be spoiled. I linked all the Zeldas I could think of below, lemme know if I forgot one

Ok so now that I've described the forum, I need help with deciphering Morse code found in Vah Ruta's dungeon theme. I already know about the SOS, but I found more. Unfortunately I don't have access to the official recording, so if anyone could link an mp3 of it below that would be helpful.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS AT THE END

I’ve heard the theory that groose is the forefather of the gerudo- especially since he has the traits of gerudo. (a muscular build, golden eyes, and red hair) Also, spoilers below impa mentions that groose has an important mission in the land below, which most likely means aiding link on his quest but also could refer to him starting up the gerudo race. Plus, at the end of skyward sword he decides to stay on the ground and not go back up to skyloft.

I’ve heard about the SOS but I didn’t know what there’s more. There’s some videos on YouTube that have the dungeon theme if that would help at all.

@SmashBall35 yeah I recently noticed it. I guess it could be a more drawn out version? But while it sounds like Morse code (its played on the same note as the SOS) I don't think its another SOS call because in the other dungeon themes with multiple SOS calls (Vah Rudania has it ten times, Vah Medoh has it twice) they sound exactly the same and are obvious. Anyways thanks for the suggestion I'll try and find it on YouTube, and I'll keep this forum posted with my progress.

@SmashBall35 I have heard this theory!! I think it's super interesting, I have also heard that the wind tribe (from the Minish cap) could originate from him. You mentioned him staying on the ground, I actually didn't know that lol. And in that case you're theory makes more sense than the Wind Tribe one.

Ok. I guess you could even try to slow down the video to 75% or less and decipher it.

@Greenteamangofruit It's more likely the wind tribe are the people who decided to stay up in Skyloft at the end of Skyward Sword, as not all of the Hylians decided to live on the surface.

Currently Playing: SoulCalibur VI, Professor Layton and the curious village, SMT V.

LordOfTheMountain

I'm kinda scared to say this but.. Basically in breath of the wild (Maybe spoilers idk) If you mount and take the lord of the mountain to the stables they won't let you register it and they seem terrified that something happened including this creature. Lemme just get to the point, What if the people of hyrule interfered with this magestic yet unkown creature by trying to tame it and paid a terrible price or the lord of the mountain is a bad presence! And basically thats why I think they won't let you register it. (sorry this was so long)

@LordOfTheMountain I never really thought much about it, that's a great theory! tbh I'm actually kinda surprised npcs can see it, seeing as how they can't see other spirits like the dragons or the koroks.

(edit: fixed a typo)

@LordOfTheMountain lol same I was so disappointed when I couldn't register it. I did manage to ride it all the way to akkala though!

@Greenteamangofruit Update to those interested, I've heard from some sources that the morse code is speeding up and getting more frantic (which is like, super sad) and that's why it's so hard to dechipher. I haven't been able to confirm this but it makes sense.
