I have some terrible games such as Imagine series by Ubisoft, My Universe games by Microids, etc.
They are mostly mediocre and there is one terrible game by Microids with title My Universe Fashion Boutique with boring gameplay and terrible fashion clothing design.

Everytime I played this game, I like to laugh to myself not because the game was funny, but I laughed in sarcastic way to see how terrible the fashion design from my clients request which the outfit design I made based on their request were always looks like Grandma outfits. 🤣
And moreover the models and the clients wore really clashed outfits that I like to comment their outfits in sarcastic way.

I knew the game itself is already terrible but I still like to play it as it has something that keep my interest with the games.
The mediocrity of that game made me entertained and said some sarcastic jokes from the games.

If you have some beloved terrible games that you like to play and make a sarcastic joke from them to tell how terrible they are, please share your gaming experience here.

I remember playing this Thomas the Tank Engine DS game when I was a kid; it was mind-numbingly simple, incredibly basic presentation-wise and was beatable in about 1-2 hours....but by god 8-9 year old me played it to kingdom come back in the day XD

Sonic 06, I bought it on 360 not knowing that it was a buggy mess. My thinking at the time was "It's a Sonic game, surely it's fantastic" and it turned out I was right for the wrong reasons. The game is a lot of fun because of how broken it is, I even got 100% completion (including all achievements unlocked).

That said of course it would've been better if SEGA had given Sonic Team more time and it ended up being an iconic masterpiece like Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.

Deadly Premonition has to be one of my favourite bad games.
The gameplay, controls and graphics are all terrible but it is held together with an amazing story that is the closest to a Twin Peaks game I've played.
Highly recommend this wonky masterpiece.

People say Lego City Undercover sucks but Its sooo fun...
Also Mario party 8 is my CHILDHOOD so that game too.
Sonic Boom rise of lyric sucked but it was kind of funny sometimes lol

Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)

I think Sticker Star is a fun game.

Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis on GBA. That port of Sonic has its problems with framerates and glitches, man I still love it. Especially since it was my way to play Sonic 1 on the go long before the DS collection, 3DS port and the excellent mobile port of the game existed.

Also, I really like Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric. It has its problems on a technical level, but I still enjoy playing the game and will pop the disc into my Wii U from time to time.

Edit: BTW, I'm not joking either. I just noticed the "sarcastic" tag.

When thinking about this topic my mind goes back to the NES and 16bit days…

Does anyone remember playing EA’s Sword of Sodan on Genesis/MD? It was an awful, unfair game whose one redeeming quality was its gore. Still, friends and I played it and had some laughs at its horridnness, till a kind of affection formed.

Crash: Mind Over Mutant for the DS was a classic growing up. I was genuinely shocked to learn people didn’t like it.

Contra Rogue Corps

Even though the game was directed by folks who had hands on previous Contra games, the 3D Contra games have never been well-received. The game, thematically, doesn't feel like a Contra game. More like a half-rate knockoff. The overheat mechanic on weapons goes against the non-stop run-and-gun the series is known for. And the progression system is convoluted.

But if you like twin-stick shooters, and this game wasn't titled as a Contra game, I think there's fun to be had here.

Pokemon XY, it was the start of the downfall of the series but I still have a soft spot for it and is one of my most played 3DS games.

Imagine and Petz series by Ubisoft are my other beloved terrible games.
The games idea was actually good but the execution of the gameplay are varied from quite nailed to completely disaster, depend on the developers.
I really like the idea of games for girls audience with light gameplay and general themes but I wish the chosen developers can maximize the gameplay potential so it will not wasted by mediocre gameplay and control input.

"The Simpsons Road Rage" is pretty fun for a Crazy Taxi clone, the random dialogue from the VAs of the show cracks me up! (the long loading times are an issue though)

Barbie games on consoles are my another terrible beloved games.
The fact that the way of developers made Barbie games for consoles are so low budget and lack of creativity that made the gameplay so mediocre and the animation looks so cheap.
Despite of the mediocrity, I still like to collect Barbie games just for having sarcastic laugh to see the mediocrity of the gameplay. 😂
If new Barbie games handled by competent Japanese developers, I'm pretty sure the gameplay will be way much better.

A lot of people seem to really dislike Sonic 3-D Blast, but I actually like it a lot. One reason why I like it is because it borrows some ideas from Sega's arcade game, Flicky (another game that I really like). The Saturn and PC version of 3-D Blast is also a really fantastic upgrade to the game as well.

Mega Man X6 is a big guilty pleasure for me. Yeah, the Nightmare system sucks and the level design can be absolute garbo sometimes (correction: most of the time), but X and Zero have never been this utterly broken. Between X wielding a Z-Saber and Zero having a bunch of cancel exploits he can do, you can pull off some wild combos in X6 that you can't in any other X game. The music and general post-apocalyptic vibes are also immaculate.

I don't know if it qualifies as a terrible game, but I absolutely loved Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE. I know it bombed sales-wise, but I loved playing through that game. I completed it on Wii U, and again on the Switch (which is a big deal for me, because I rarely go back and replay long games since my gaming time is limited, being an adult with a family and a job and all). The silly cheesy characters, the use of color in the environments, the turn-based role playing element that makes it feel like a souped up version of Final Fantasy, and the music - I loved everything about it. Some of the side quests feel repetitive, but the dialogue still makes them fun. People made a big deal about the censorship of the game, but I would side with the "censorship in the game makes sense because otherwise it's creepy" crowd. Like I said, I don't know if it's truly a "terrible" game, but I have a special place in my heart for it. It was reviled when it was released for not being more "Fire Emblem-y," but I love it for what it is. If you haven't tried it, I would recommend it.

There's quite a few NES and SNES games on this list for me. Growing up I bought up to 2 games a year, one for Christmas and one for my birthday - ask for the wrong game and I was stuck with it for 6-9 months. Back to the Future 2 & 3 (one game) was awful, and I knew it, but I tried like hell to beat it (never did). It was so cheap and so hard. Bart vs the Space Mutants was another one that I could never beat, but made it pretty far on a few occasions. I loved that you could prank call Moe. On the SNES I bought Pit Fighter after playing it once in the arcade (I thought the graphics were amazing at the time). The game is terrible, but I played a lot of it. On the Wii I picked up Red Steel on launch day, and thought that game was pretty fun, but it was destroyed with reviews.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is an utter dumpster fire of a game. Rushed development, loads of bugs, story that doesn't know what it's trying to be, some of the worst endings I've seen in a game (ever), and making the series look like an absolute joke. I have so much resentment for this game, and yet, I still can't bring myself to full on "hate" it like a lot of other people do. Oh it's not good, God no, but I feel that there's elements that keep me coming back. I really like the idea of exploring this huge mall overnight, really makes me feel like a kid in paradise. I also found myself quite fond of Freddy by the end, he struck me as this loving yet goofy guardian. I really like exploring the place for all the little goodies and upgrades, reminded me of a metroid-vania in some small ways. That said, I can't in good conscience call this game good. It should have been delayed, it had so much potential. Yet I still have a strange fondness for it, even though it's awful.

Idealism and realism are only a few letters apart, it's a fine line between the two. One must be careful not
to step too far on one end, as it could very easily throw the other off balance.
