Topic: Who would win in a race? Sylvestor Stallone or Tom Cruise?

Watching Rocky 1 right now and watching the training montage at the end, and seeing that Stallone was a good runner back in 1976 got me thinking

I dunno how good Stallone is at running now these days but if Stallone and Tom Cruise were in a race right now who do you think would win as long as theyre in shape at the right time for the race?

@XandertheWise Yeah, but philly was a dump back then. XD (I live near philly.) There's no real logic to that. Um, I'll say tom cruise. With all the muscle stallone had, I'd say tom cruise seems more built for running speed.

Doesn’t Tom Cruise run in all his movies?

Didn't he lose his legs in Born on the 4th July? Or am I thinking of Lieutenant Dan? But he defo can't walk. I guess maybe he coulda had a running scene before that tho.

@gcunit I have no idea, Family Guy made a joke about it one time.

Not a single man out there who can defeat Stallone at anything. Well, except for JCVD.

Forest Gump can beat them both

Tom Cruise ran in most of his movies except for Born on 4th of July. I dont think he ran like the Flash in Legend. all he did was leap or hop around and kneel most of the time which probably wasnt good for his knees even though he was younger at the time.

Does he do any running in Eyes Wide Shut? It's been a long time since I've seen it.

People forget Tom Cruise is 4'8 and it’s just CGI and puppet legs that make him seem taller in the movies so he would cover less distance in a single stride than Stallone.

In any case Tom Cruise is dhead and I’d rather see Stallone knock him out than race him.

@XandertheWise He's only 5'7 when he wears shoes like these and they aren’t very good for running in.

@jump @XandertheWise The real reason has been in front of us this whole time. Tom Cruise is a lizard person and can change his height at will, he only chooses to be shorter to make himself look more humble.

@XandertheWise I’d go with cruise personally. Stalones stunts are more focused on combat while Cruises are more generalized. At least thats my guess

@Eagly Tom Cruise is gonna be the first person to make a movie in space...... Not like many other films have been set there...

@Eagly I mean this stuff he's talking about. Laser swords and space wizards and this thing called the force or whatever.

Everyone keeps going on about how short Tom Cruise is. I think that's very unfair.
It's probably the case that he's actually quite a tall, strapping lad for an inhabitant of the same planet as Xenu.
