Topic: Who are some of your favourite comedians

I've always been a fan of George Carlin and was amazed to discover how pertinent a lot of his stuff still is when listening to him recently, also a fan of Bill Hicks and the late Roy chubby brown (god he was so filthy, but funny too) Also a fan of John Cooper Clarke although he can be described more as a performance poet but his poems always make me laugh.

Alistar Beckett-King (very funny YT sketch channel too with amazing SFX).

Jimmy Yang is a recent discovery and enjoyed what I have heard so far.

Strong recommendation for Conan Obrien Needs a Friend podcast.

I recently listened to the Tom Hanks and Tom Hanks Returns episodes, and they were great. I also liked the most recent episode with David Spade and Martin Short. Kevin Nealon episodes are good. Most episodes are good. (if anyone thinks the opening song is weird, I won't disagree, but Jack White of the White Stripes wrote it for Conan's podcast & sings it.)

Off hand, one of my favorite stand ups has been Brian Regan. I liked his 2008-ish show Standing Up, which may be on apple tv and netflix.

@Hapless He did a really weird and bleak but funny sitcom with Benedict Wong too.

I don't watch a lot of comedy (really should watch more), but I like Tim Hawkins a lot.

Also really like the comedy groups Studio C and JK Studios.
