When i said "early" Green Day, i meant pre-Dookie. Their indy stuff, including Kerplunk and their early EPs, Slappy, 1000 Hours and 39/Smooth. Insomniac (which also fell in line more with the earlier stuff) was probably the last album of theirs that wasn't utter crap in my opinion.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.

Green Day shouldn't have a Rock Band. They are my favorite band, I have every album, but the guitar riffs are so simple is most of their songs. Plus, they curse so much that it sounds terrible with all that censorship. That said, Blink182 should not get a game. I say Queen, now that they are adding piano.

Green Day Have a Rock Band

I know that, I'm saying they don't deserve it.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

I sorta disagree. Nimrod and Warning aren't bad, just not as "punk" as every other album. American Idiot is okay, but 21st Century Breakdown was crap.
But their earlier stuff is definitely far better.

I like most Green Day but their newer ones (American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown and Shenangans) are't as good as Smoothed Out, Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod. Green Day Best Band Ever

Beatles-shmeatles...PRIMUS ROCK BAND! with a cool replica of les claypools bass he uses on almost every tour. it could have a slap-pad for your thumb & be able to distinguish between plucking & strumming. most of the guys from primus & flying frog brigade keep their instruments pretty busy so it would deffinately be a lot of fun for us bastardos (primus fans.)

Maybe...Godzilla is inside each one of us.

edit: this is in response to mariofoys question "who are primus?" if you take a listen let me know what you think.
really? they have been around sinnce like 1990. a mix of funk/metal/dr. seuss-like lyrics. songs you may have heard: "my name is mud", "wynonas big brown beaver", jerry was a race car driver," & the opening & closing theme from "south park."les claypool is the bass player/singer & has been awarded bass player of the year since like 1992. if you like a little something bizzarre when it comes to rock, check it out. youll either love 'em or hate 'em.

@breegullblaster
But would anyone be able to actually play a Primus game? Claypool is f'n AMAZING on the bass (one of my absolute faves along with Stu Hamm, Jaco and a few others way back when i used to play bass back in high school/college), i don't think anyone could keep up with his awesomeness, even hardcore bastardos =)

@RandomWiiPlayer
The deviation from their "punk" roots was exactly what i didn't like about those albums. But yes, Nimrod and Warning were not near as bad as what was to come afterwards.

Queen's the only one that would make a lot of sense, since they have a great selection of songs, as well as a following.
Nickelback rock band may sell, but it would suck. A lot of their stuff is samey. Also, the Rock Band community hates Nickeback.
One that I would personally enjoy is Incubus Rock Band. They have lots of variety and quite a following, not like Metalica, The Beatles, or Green Day, but still a decent sized fanbase. Plus, I could see some of their stuff being really fun to play.

The Pixies! Also, to reiterate, Bob Dylan. A music game in this day and age has to follow a band with a multivaried catalogue and has to do something different. What if you had to match Dylan's cadence? All this stuff about the next Rock Band game sounds promising, actually basing the instruments on real instruments and all (or is that the next Guitar Hero? Well, one of those.) And the Dylan one would have to include a virtual harmonica. That's be neat.

I always thought Primus kinda sucked. That being said, Claypool is fantastic on the bass.

I'm pretty sure those hating on American Idiot are insane. That, or they insist on calling Greenday a punk band and then complain because they don't sound like a punk band. Greenday has never been punk.
