I haven't cared for Primus since Sailing the Seas of Cheese and Pork Soda.
While I'm no Queen fan (I do like a few of their songs though), I certainly don't disagree that they'd be a good choice. I could also see Guns N' Roses (even with their 6-ish albums).
My preference/pipe dream: Alice in Chains. I generally can't stand these "instrument" games, but I'd be all over an Alice in Chains game like white on rice.
Radiohead would be interesting. They could so some really cool stuff with it, if they allowed for some of the improvisation and inventiveness that goes on during their live shows.
Pavement would be jammin', too.

My personal dream release would be Guitar Hero Phish, however, with randomized versions of whichever song you pick, drawn from their extensive live performances. You'd have no idea when you picked Chalk Dust Torture if it would be two and a half minutes long, or a half hour. And if you did know it was a half hour, you wouldn't know which half-hour version it was. IT WOULD BE BLISS

That is such a brilliant idea, for any future band-specific Rock Band game, really. Especially for bands that are known for being creative live.

Would it come with a free poncho and a bong?
"The government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion."
I'd buy Pink Floyd Rock Band on day one (not Guitar Hero, since they'll have 20 Pink Floyd songs and 30 by other artists, and Rock Band has the keyboard), but there's a few problems
Most of their best songs are well over 10 minutes long. This would mean that it would be hard for consoles to handle, especially the Wii. Echoes could be easily split into two pieces, but that leaves us with two 12 minutes songs, which is still too long for the Wii to handle. This was a problem with The Beatles’ Abbey Road DLC, while features a 16-minute medley that had to be split into 4 minute chunks for the Wii release.
This will also be an issue with DLC. How much will you charge for a 15 minute song over a 3 minute song?
Still, if they can find a way to make it work while keeping fans and the Floyd themselves happy, we may indeed have a winner.
Just for fun, here's my dream setlist:
Singles: Arnold Layne See Emily Play
The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn: Astronomy Domine Flaming Interstellar Overdrive
A Saucerful of Secrets: Remember A Day Jubland Blues
Ummagumma: Carful With That Axe Eugene (Live) Set Controls For The Heart Of The Sun (Live)
Atom Heart Mother: Fat Old Sun
Meddle: One Of These Days Echoes
The Dark Side of the Moon: Speak To Me/Breathe On The Run Time The Great Gig In The Sky Money Us And Them Any Colour You Like Brain Damage/Eclipse
Wish You Were Here: Have A Cigar Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI – IX)
Animals: Pigs (Three Different Ones) Sheep/Pigs On The Wing 2
The Wall: The Happiest Days Of Our Lives/Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) Empty Spaces/Young Lust Comfortably Numb
And then stop there, there’s nothing good past this point anyway.
