An axolotl is a kind of salamander which is noteworthy for remaining in a juvenile state yet still being able to reproduce, apparently in response to external conditions. It's presently regarded as endangered and population numbers seem to be dropping in response to reduction in water quality and introduction of alien predators like carp and tilapia:

I was just a big fan of Bobbery from PM2, since he was such a unique character and so useful in battles. So, The BobberyFan part was made, but then the number 98 was put there since 1998 was my birth year. So thus, the username BobberyFan98 was born!
