Topic: What was your first pokemon game?

Every true pokefan played one game and got hooked on pokemon for life. My first time playing pokemon was on my brothers GBA playing Leafgreen. What was your first pokemon experience?

Pokemon Blue version on my original gray brick (Game Boy). I remember how it was the talk of the school, I remember saving every penny for Red Version, then Yellow, then ZOMG GOLD AND SILVER, NEW POKEMON AND TYPES AND... Yeah. Now it's been, what, 15+ years since then? Ah, now I feel so old...

Pokémon Blue and Yellow. Bundled with Tetris and a Game Boy really cheap at a Garage Sale when I was little. Best purchase ever.

My very first Pokemon game is when I have my FireRed, still love it even though I no longer can play on it because the save battery no longer works. Still the most amazing 80~ hours I have put into the game. ^^;;

Pokemon Ruby version.

Found it in an easter egg when I was 7. (Yeah, you heard me. GBA games in easter eggs.)

I remember hating it at first, because I was naive, and didn't do new game. I started off in Slateport City and didn't know what to do and never found grass to battle. Eventually, my older sister played it in her silver GBA, and deleted the current file and I was like: "Whoa!"

Deleted her file and played it.

Blue. got it when it first came out, I was 7 at the time.

Crystal, which was also the first game I ever owned.

I received Pokemon Yellow as a Christmas present in 1998, along with a Game Boy Color (which was my first handheld).

I got Crystal for Christmas 2001. I was 7. I have loved Pokemon ever since then and I can't wait for X and Y!!

Pokémon Red along with my green Game Boy Color in the summer of 2000. The first RPG I've played on the first console I truly owned. Not borrowed, it was mine, my precious!

Emerald,but HeartGold is my fav.

Always loved Pokemon when I was little. But I couldn't understand RPG games to save my life! So I often played the spin-offs as a child. So my first Main Series Pokemon game was Diamond!

I think mine was Ruby or Sapphire, though I did have my cousin's GBC when I was little, so i also had Yellow, Gold and Crystal.
