@Tasuki: I don't have much faith in the Lions. At least the bears have been good to great in the past. The last time the Lions were good was before Superbowls existed.

This Colts fan sums up our problems perfectly:
"I don't think Pagano is a great coach. But I think he's being dealt a bad hand with a GM who refuses to upgrade the team where it really needs it (and where I'm sure Pagano wants help) and an offensive coordinator who is a moron. I refuse to believe Pagano actually wanted Pep to be OC.
You have a ready made OC on the team with Chud. Use the next 3 weeks after firing Pep to allow Chud to redo the offense against inferior opponents. Unfortunately not much can be done with the line at this time, but we can certainly fire Grigson this year or at its end. Get a GM who has experience and knows how to build within the trenches and defense.
It's so ****ing obvious what this teams needs, I know it, you know it, the rest of the NFL knows it. That's why there's sympathy for Pagano.
And while Luck has played poorly, I do not in any way blame this on him. There's only so much a QB can take before he melts down with his ****** line. And who the eff is he supposed to throw to when everyone is 15 yards downfield? This isn't on him, and to suggest that it's his fault partially because "he's used to it" is ********. "

Didn't you guys do well last year? I think you guys went 11-5 and got second in the division behind the Packers. What happened?
We lost that dominating force on our d line. Love him or hate him (Shu) he was a massive presence and required 2 people to defend him.
Plus Stafford wasn't even that good last year. He got a free ride because the defense was so good. He did however step up when it counted but he often put the offense in bad situations to begin with.

Yeah. That sucks for you guys. I know Suh was a dominating force on your D-Line. Didn't you guys sign Ngata? He may not be as good as Suh but he should be a good replacement. At least you guys are better than the Bears. Vikings may have Bridgewater, but I see you and them switching places every couple of years.
Well can't say I am surprised with the outcome of today's game for my team. With being down a QB and receiver and going against Seattle coming home I suspected as much.
