Wow. I know it's early in the game, but the hype on this season and my faith is getting crushed. This team looks unprepared and unfocused. So many penalties, and our D is actually playing better than our O. I know there have been rumors going around about Pagano and Grigson and Irsay looking for new HC's, and I feel like that's affecting the team. All I know is that this team is never going to make the Superbowl let alone get out of the first round(or make the playoffs) if they continue to play like this. Pass defense is terrible, O-Line sucks, Luck isn't Luck, playcalling is terrible, Andre isn't playing well, and a crap ton of other things are happening to the team. No way we're making this Superbowl, and I may not be as actively involved watching this team as the previous few years, if they continue this bad play.
Edit: And our starting CB is out. Great. 0-2 is a real possibility, and I doubt we can bounce back from it. This season looks like it's going to suck. Are we turning into the Jags? Or maybe turn out like the 49ers last year? A playoff team that sucked the year after(or was it 2 years?) they made the Superbowl. The Colts are making the Fitzpatrick look like a real QB out there. If we can't beat the Jets, we won't be able to beat anyone else.
Edit #2: (sorry for the long post) What happened to our offense? The TE's aren't being used effectively, Dorsett isn't being used at all, Johnson isn't playing well, Moncrief is still learning, and TY is injured. Oh, yeah, our franchise QB looks like trash out there. If we do continue this horrible play or miss the playoffs(which is very likely) I'm all for a change in the coaching regime.
And this game is over. A fumble at the one yard line on a 10 minute drive? That's unreal. They're cursed this year, and we're not going to make it to the SB, let alone the playoffs. Defense has been good, and much better than the offense. O-Line is trash and needs to be fixed. Luck, for whatever reason, isn't himself. Talent is definitely there, the execution and everything else has been crap. No way we beat the Jets. I don't think I will continue watching this team unless they start getting their act together. I'm basically done with them, and won't watch until next year. I have better things to do.

I'm all for waiting for around week 5-6 in the season, but their play at this point is completely terrible. I understand the Jags comparison may be a little steep, but I don't understand how a team that although may have overachieved and went to the AFCCG last year, is completely terrible this year. I know it's only week 2, but I'd have more optimism if they have even some semblance of life. We did go 0-2 last year, but that was completely different. This play is unacceptable, and I don't think they can bounce back from it. Maybe if they had put up a close game against the Bills or Jets, I'd be ok, but this I am not ok with.
Also, sorry to hear about Romo. Really sucks for you guys. I don't think Weeden will be able to elevate you over the other NFC teams into the Superbowl, but I think you guys will do some good things with Weeden(mainly because of the that crazy good O-Line of yours), and win the division.

I guess, but I don't have as much optimism as you do. I think this kind of bad play is more mental. Penalties are killing us today.
Also, as a side note, I don't know whether it's Pagano or Grigson that's the problem, but one of them has to go. I'd go with Grigson and Hamilton, then find a new GM(especially one that knows how to draft O-Line) and OC. We definitely need a new coach, because this unpreparedness is unacceptable.
Edit: And this is the play/plays we need. This is what our offense is suppose to be like. It was a much needed drive and TD. I'm not sure why exactly the Colts waited until the fourth quarter to play like this.

Jerry Jones may have a reputation as being a weird/out of the box GM, but I don't think he'd be crazy enough to go with Tebow. Maybe a trade for RG3? He'd have all day behind that O-Line of yours, and may be able to regain some of his former ability. It would make sense for both sides, but Redskins may not be willing to go through with it.
Yeah, I agree weeks 5& 6 will be different, but I really don't like this play they've put up. Thankfully, we have until week 6 to get our act together when we face the Patriots. I don't remember the Colts trading anyone outside of cutting Wayne, but I haven't followed their offseason too closely. Fleener and Allen were drafted as Luck's targets but they've been nonexistent so far.
Just what we need. D collapsed at the wrong moment, but can't really blame them for the stellar game they put up earlier. We've lost this unless you can pull off two consecutive <2 minute drives. 0-2 here we come, and at least we have the Texans for company. What's weird is that if the O had play at least average, this game would be over already, because of the D's really good game.

As a non-American obviously I don't follow the NFL. However I do follow the AFL, Aussie rules. I don't want to create another thread for this so I'll just post this here.
Currently this is the state of things. There are 18 teams in the competition and they play each other through the regular season. Regular sort of stuff. Two are from my home state, The West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers. I support West Coast and have done for as long as I can remember. This year both WA teams finished in the top two spots and this is what has happened in the finals since:

Ugh I am so disgusted with the Bears right now especially after last Sunday's proformance. All I can say is its still early in the season so hopefully they can get their stuff together.

Well it looks like the Redskins could actually be decent this year. Our D has been surprisingly solid and the run game has been outstanding. Cousins has looked good as well, so you could say I'm pleasantly surprised. With the Eagles looking like a trainwreck, the Giants being the Giants, and the injuries to Dallas, we could have a legitimate shot at the division.
