Even though it underperformed, Warner Bros. is still moving ahead with a sequel to Green Lantern. Since Harry Potter has ended Warner is looking for other franchises to fill the void.

Thor was much better than I was expecting, I can't believe I almost skipped out on it. The Avengers is going to be amazing. I'm just bummed that Captain America 2 probably isn't coming until 2014.

Thor: biggest surprise of the year so far. Looked terrible from the previews, but it was a really fun movie that combined great action, great performances and self-aware humor.

Green Lantern: An atrocity too gross for words. Terrible film-making. A aassive disappointment...which, you know, is an accomplishment since I wasn't exactly expecting miracles.
