So I'm sure a lot of us saw the new Gamer nut butter. But I'm pretty sure a lot of us agree that the name is er, not the best, and we have had many items like it before with the "Gamer" tag on it.
So I would like to know your guys opinions, what counts as a gamer food, or (Drink) if there even is such a thing.
In my opinion water is the perfect thing to drink wile playing a video game, as for me, staying hydrated makes me play better, or stays more focus. (To be fair that could go for any activity)
@Snatcher Hmm, Water is certainly the healthiest but it can literally be any Drink that you enjoy. Personally, i also prefer Water or currant spritzer back at my parents home since it was always around.
Well for Food, probably something simple but not too unhealthy like pasta and rice with any stuff. A Sandwiches and the like are great for me personally as long as i am not playing any action games where i have to stay on my toes all the time.
If i play an action game like that i probably don't eat till i take a longer break or i go for quick sweets...Now these are actually always very tempting i gotta admit.
Actually, now that i think about it, the calmer the game the more effort i put into my drinks.

@Solaine I think i'm kinda like this, what I eat during a game depends on what type of game I'm playing. The most adaptable option in my opinion is something you can put in a bowl, and just grab, Burger's don't really work because you need to be careful with it, hotdogs don't work for the same reason, a bowl of cut up fruit like an apple would work because you can eat a slice in one go,
Maybe pizza as well, because you just need to hold it up and eat it.

@Snatcher Yes, exactly that! just something you can eat one-handed is best. Can't tell you how often i embarassingly had something fall down from my plate just cause i was too greedy for the game.

@Solaine And it just sucks wile your playing the game, you have a nice meal in front of you, but you might be in a middle of a match or something, and you have to wait, and you say to yourself “if only I went for the bowl of food”

Dew and Doritos!!! Nah, I kid. Personally, I usually like a cup of hot cocoa or tea when playing games. I try not to eat when gaming, greasy controllers are my pet peeve, lol. Though, for a LAN party, definitely pizza. Just wouldn't eat it when actually playing obviously.
@NinChocolate I'm always doing this. Cooking homemade food is the best.

@Solaine I agree that it should be able to be eaten with one hand, but also not messy enough so get on your hands too much like Cheetos would.

If you are responding to me in forums or a comment I would much appreciate it if you quoted or tagged me in your responses so I can see it and respond. Otherwise I usually can’t tell that you’ve replied. Thanks!
I pretty much have set times I eat, and don't snack outside that often (other than the occasional cookie or other sweet, but even then that's usually right after I eat dinner & not necessarily a separate event).
While I don't drink it while gaming, I do like Mountain Dew though (at least the side flavors like Code Red).
