Everybody has some sort of virtue. They are the standards that you live by as you continue through your life day after day. My virtue would have to be a carefree attitude. I don't really care what other people think, nor do I mind when I am insulted. Yes, I am a very weird person. I will randomly burst out into song (with my musical preferences being oldies, j-pop, and random stuff I hear in video games) I will stay up late into the night watching anime or playing video games. I'll even bust the craziest dance moves when I feel like it, making myself appear as if I belong in some sort of asylum. A carefree attitude makes life more fun for be, thus, I shape my personality by it's standards. Now, what's YOUR virtue? How do you live your life?
I'm working on a game that's coming out soon! Cipher Trailer
Mine is to never settle for anything other than excellence in school (my parents also enforce the standards of what they expect on this matter) and also i believe i do what i want not caring what people will think. Finally, i stay away from the stereotypes of my race since i think the stereotypes are not reflective of what i can become or what i can or can not do.

Good manners, I use them always, regardless of standards set by others. And I'm talking about IRL before any of you lol. Be yourself, and if people don't like that, it's there loss. Refrain from regret or worry. Both are useless emotions that only damage one's self. There is no such thing as boredom! Appreciate the little things in life, they are plenty and joyous. Don't take one single moment of your life for granted, we are lucky to be alive at all.
Machu's pretty on-the-money. I still think the be-yourself thing is important, but that doesn't mean to act out and be a donkeyall the time. If "yourself" is some destructive metal-head douche, don't be surprised if a sizable majority don't dig your yourself-ness. Again, you don't wanna go on a first date with a girl and hurt her ears with every personal idiosyncracy...sometimes easing people into "yourself" isn't a bad call, especially when you have an "overpowering/intense" personality such as mine! I can't even count how many people, after knowing them a while, have told me "man you're cool...but first time I met you I gotta admit you were weird as hell"
Please don't pidgeon-hole yourself into striving for excellence in school because you think that's what's required of you...I mean you should strive for excellence in everything, but don't kill yourself in school because "it's required!!!". My brother got a Master's from Rice, ended up hating his job, and now has a job that pays more and honestly he'd be further up the earnings-totem if he'd gone into his profession directly out of school and just gotten work experience. Despite what society wants you to think, school is in no way required for many lucrative career pathways, ESPECIALLY in the video game world. Just food for thought...You'd be surprised how many jobs I've gotten, sub-bachelor's degree, instead of people with degrees, simply because I'm a nice charismatic dude that makes eye-contact when he speaks, shakes hands firmly, and knows how to conduct himself during the interview process. Not that I'm not still working on it (the degree)--I've just been told, directly by my boss at CMI, that he likes hiring college grads the least because they think they know something, whereas non-grads know they know nothing and are much less resistant to being taught new things and receiving criticism.
EDIT: My current job at my non-VG-employer actually required a Bachelor's degree, but I got it because I excelled in other areas and they were "more than willing" to overlook that requirement. It was there, more than anything, to make the job appear better to on-lookers and discourage unqualified applicants. If someone sees that you are a good fit for a job, they're gonna give it to you. Everyone else they interviewed has a degree, and none of them got it. Food for thought.

Enjoy the Treasures from the Past: We live in such consumer based times. That means that newer things can seem more important than older things because of the money used to push them. However, the intelligent person knows there is plenty of good video games, movies, books, films, and music from the past. So much of it are we usually unaware of it because it's easy to fall victim to advertising. So take a chance on something obscure from the past and chances are you could be pretty impressed!

Lol man strive for excellence in everything, thats such a cliche line when its known that all people value and care about some things way more than others lol come on xD
And yes, i will strive for excellence in education, not because its required but because to me education is the most important thing you can have in life, so really it is required if you want to excel to your best potential lol maybe its not required to you but to me, it is one of MY VIRTUES, so please dont tell me im pidgeon holing myself, if i didnt think it was necessary to think education is one of my virtues i woundnt have said it. Ill keep my virtues, u can have yours, i didnt ask for approval

Let's see... Be Yourself - Never let ANYONE tell you what to like and what to not like. Everyone has likes and dislikes. On a similar note... Stand up for what you believe in - I learned this is so many places. Always stand up for your opinion. Don't let others push you down. Be friends or at least be nice to everyone/ Don't let others intimidate you - I always act nice to everyone, even if they're mean or bigger than I. Don't let them think you're scared!
I used to always settle for things and I always put up with people's BS but about last September I went crazy and snapped so now I'm on fire, I expect the best out of anything in life and I put people in their place if they mess with me (scared my boss when I yelled at her at work for making me angry, she didn't expect it from me). Now I live my life by doing what I want, whenever I want and if people don't like it they can suck it. My number one rule with dealing with people is "I don't care who you are, if you don't mess with me I won't mess with you and I'll only treat you the way you treat me. I'm still that nice guy I used to be, but I no longer let anyone step all over me, if anyone's gonna be stepping on people it's gonna be me and that's only if you make me angry. I guess I sound like a real jerk now don't I?
