Mostly because the Balance Board actually made sense.
You use the shifting of your weight to maneuver the oncreeen characters. In other words, you have to balance on it.
Sure, both of them require shifting your weight to due a certain action but with the Wii balance board you don’t really have to struggle to “balance.” The Wii balance board was inspired by a scale, the Roll & Rocker was inspired by the awesome Pogo Ball! Pogoing really need to make a comeback.

The Super NES Advantage is my favorite. So colorful and it was fun playing Street Fighter II and other fighting games. Made me feel like I was at the arcade....a little bit. The Rock N Roller screams 80's goodness. Thanks, @Ryno for posting that.
