Here are a few shows I think have a high likelyhood of being in the lineup. Remember, these aren't all shows I want (although some I do), just shows I think have a good chance.
DBZ/Kai (uncut) - Do I want: yes. Why I think it has a good chance: While Kai is on Nicktoons, AS (Toonami) is going after a different demographic, so it's not like they're competing. Nicktoons' license may only extend to Kai & GT, so the original Z (which would probably be more wanted in this case) may be free to be licensed out to AS (Toonami).
Thundercats (new) - Do I want: Neutral. Why I think it has a good chance: the Thundercats brand has a history on Toonami, from what I understand the new series has done well for CN, it's technically anime, and AS (Toonami) wouldn't have to license it.
InuYasha: the Final Act - Do I want: Yes. Why I think it has a good chance: the original series was introduced to AS in 2001, and (until now) has never been absent from AS's anime lineup. Obviously it must have a very large (or extremely loyal) fanbase, if AS is still airing it to this date (even Cowboy Bebop, the other AS anime from 2001 that's still around, has been absent from the lineup from time to time, unlike InuYasha).
Star Wars: the Clone Wars - Do I want: No. Why I think it has a good chance: Like the new Thundercats, AS (Toonami) would not have to go out and license the series, as it's a CN show. It has also aired on AS before with respectable ratings (from what I understand).
Remember, these aren't all shows I want, just shows I believe have a good chance of making the lineup.

This is from Wikipedia, so should be taken with a grain of salt, but they're pretty confident Adult Swim will premier Casshern Sins & Deadman Wonderland on the new Toonami block.
I've honestly never heard of these shows until now. Does anyone know if they're good?

I'm not exactly surprised to see Deadman Wonderland on there, as it's a brutally violent show for almost no purpose other than to be a brutally violent show. Casshern Sins is an interesting addition though.
EDIT: Also, @mamp ; no-one will ever see Madoka Magica on Toonami. I can tell you that right now; while the series is dark and not typical, it's still a magical girl series. And considering Toonami's new time slot, I don't think many people want to watch a magical girl show in the dead of night.

I've been meaning to give Deadman Wonderland a try, and Casshern Sins sounds like it could be interesting. The revival of the Toonami brand seems as good an excuse as any to check them out.
I do love how some anime fans think everything on Toonami was some artsy. genius, revolutionary anime when most of it was just whatever action shows might be popular (and even the philosophical shows were only aired in the first place for having swearing and violence and stuff).
I just thought they were more kid oriented. This is the opposite of kid oriented...
later Toonami was more kid friendly (but less kid friendly than almost anything else supposedly kid friendly on tv) because it wasn't on late night tv anymore. But it used to have some at least semi-more adult anime...most of which I admittedly haven't watched much of.

You make it seem as if Toonami was a late night block that was moved to an earlier timeslot. In fact, it was a weekday afternoon block, that was moved to Saturday nights (although not late night).
For a short period they had the Midnight Run, true, but that was just a less edited run of the main afternon showing. They were pretty much testing the waters for Adult Swim.

But I almost forgot the main reason. Most of the people who care about Toonami are in their late teens at earliest. Mostly in their 20s if I had to guess. So, more adult...or at least "adult" anime and putting it where the Adult Swim Saturday night anime block is makes almost too much sense.

Very true, but still, Casshern Sins and Deadman Wonderland come as a complete shock IMO.
I always thought they would go after newer series that would appeal to the Toonami fanbase, but still be new(ish). Gundam 00, Tenchi Muyo GXP, InuYasha: the Final Act (although I guess that one has no real Toonami connection, but it seems like a no-brainer AS wise), DBZ Kai, all of these shows seem like they would make much more sense than the two (supposedly) leaked. Then again, AS isn't known for making the most logical (or predictable) decisions...

Personally, I would love it if Megas XLR was back on Toonami along with Samurai Jack. I know that it seems a bit slim (especially the former), but it could happen....maybe.
FF6: Release year- 1994 Kefka's birthday - November 9th So.... my life is practically mirroring Kefka? Cool.
Supposedly? It's on their main website. The head of AS confirmed it already.
Oh, I had no idea that AS had officially confirmed them (last I heard they were going to be completely silent on the matter of the lineup to build up hype). Thanks for the heads up.
Still, that leaves one of the three "mystery spots" open. I wonder what it could be.
Also, is it possible that AS struck some sort of partnership with Funimation? both these shows are licenced by Funi, and when AS did their April Fools Toonami, all the shows they brought back were currently owned by Funi. If that's the case, that means they'll probably never air Gundam 00, or InuYasha: the Final Act, as they aren't Funi (I don't believe). However, such a partnership could possibly make it easier to premier new anime more often, but it would have to be limited to Funi's catalouge.

Really? I love Ghost in the Shell, but it's big thing is the intensive story, and once you figure it out, there isn't much reason to go back to it IMO. With as how many times they've went through it, there's probably not many people who haven't got the gist by now.
If they were going to keep an older show, I think it would have been better to choose a "fun" show (that doesn't really make you think), so it wouldn't tire as easy. Big O (yeah, it has some deep messages, but anyone can enjoy some giant robot action), InuYasha (they've played the h*ll out of it, but it's so long it never really gets too old, and you never have to think about it), or FLCL would have been a better choice to keep. Oh well.

Deadman wonderland? I've been meaning to check that out. Sweet, now I have an excuse. Didn't expect it though. Dissapointed about Ghost in the Shell. Was hoping for more new stuff.
