Topic: Toonami Wishlist

One Piece, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Naruto, Naruto Shipudden, and Fairy Tail would be great to see on Toonami. But I would also love to see some anime that I have never seen before.

Because it's so hard to find anything good within the last decade that wasn't on Sci-fi/Adult Swim already? Especially when Funimation liscened most of them and they have their own channel?

No? It's not hard to find good anime at all. There is plenty out there, have you watched them all or just being extremely picky?
Funimation Channel? most TV providers don't carry it, or it's on VOD and Funimation have put there shows on other channels before anyway. (DBZ Kai)

Putting the most popular Anime ever on Nickelodeon doesn't really mean much. Even if FuniChan's nich, they still will do plenty to sustain that niche.

Dragon Ball Z. Without it, I probably won't watch Toonami all that much.

While that may be somewhat true, it can't completely sustain itself on nostalgia alone.

Nostagia is a big part of it, yes, but they need something new like InuYasha: the Final Act or Fairy Tale to help carry it forward.

I'd laugh if Adult Swim had the guts to allow Panty and Stockings.

I've never watched it myself...nor do I get Cartoon Network, but I've heard good things about Samurai Pizza Cats.

I would like any show if its good.

It never has in the past, and Adult Swim (whom is reviving it), never has either, so I assume that will continue to be the case.

Unrelated to your comment, however, I think it would be totally alphanumeric if they brought back ReBoot (although there's no way in h*ll that it's going to happen).

I dunno, it's been shown that literally any series that was a mild success more than a decade ago can be revived instead of daring to have an original thought.

I know, right? I was so annoyed when FiOS dropped the Funimation Channel (especially since they had just started running Gunslinger Girl).
