Im a Huge TMNT fan and I just cant wait for the new series even though Nickoloden is making it its still Ninja Turtles so my guess for the release date is mid 2012 or.early 2012 around that time.
Yeah mid 2012 seems to be fair. Im a TMNT fan too but im not that excited for it. I just don't like Donny's new weapon and the animation style. Oh and they have 3 toes. Really?
I remember hearing that the blades on Donnys and Mikey's weapons are actually only put on during special occasions of the show
Its due to the fact that nunchucks are illegal in many parts of the world.
Illegal? WTF? They used real nunchuks in the live action Ninja Turtle movies.
That was because it was American made. I know in places like England Nunchuks are illegal and thats one of the reason in the original series they changed Michaelanglo's from using nunchuks to the grappling hook thing.

Okay, so the show is going to premier March 31st, 2012, right after the 2012 Kids Choice Awards. I find it weird that they did change the weapons for both Donatello and Michelangelo to a naginata and a kusarigama. Either way, I still might watch this show, even though I'm not a big TMNT fan.
TMNT is boring and bland just shove them in the pot and make soup out it. Maybe then those boring turtle will have a little more spice.

I am looking forward to this new TMNT show but I find it strange that much like Marvel's new Ultimate Spider Man show there isn't much information, promotional images or anything for that matter available in regards to the new show. There is more information on Avatar: The Legend of Korra then there is for TMNT but that isn't surprising as Avatar: The Last Airbender is far more compelling than some of the TMNT iterations.

What?! I hadn't heard that. On the one hand it's interesting because it feels mildly similar to the original comics. But then they look like blocky...odd...things. Three toes? Mikey and Don both having blades on their weapons? Meh. I'll pass judgment more when it comes out, but for now...meh.

I seriously don't know why they added blades to their weapons. It's not like they can use them in a kids show anyway. It'll be interesting to see if this show is any good.
