These images have been doing the rounds on Reddit recently, with it being a supposed 'leaked' mario game. Honestly, I don't buy it. But it is a suprising well made spoof, definitely not ai. Any thoughts?
Putting the images into four different ai detectors, the images are around 5% likely to be ai.
A helpful analysis on Reddit broke it down and concluded they were real images, clearly made by a fan, but nonetheless real.
I would argue we got more realistic fake mario leaks in the pre-AI days because some people put so much effort into the fakes that they actually looked like they could be in a human-made game.

Some of those detectors are better than others. I put a couple of the pictures in one and it said it was near-100% chance of ai.
In practice some of the images may be a combination of ai and photoshop/editing; the version of the logo (not in your post) with Japanese text seemed better done than the rest of the images. They are all certainly 100% fake regardless.
