All the children try to run, To him its part of the fun. His branching arms are for collecting, His face is empty of expressing. He sometimes hums a lowly drone, He will wander 'round your home. Dressed in darkest suit and tie, He won't let you say goodbye.
This song still makes me shiver listening to it nowadays, but it used do downright frighten me as a child. Such a great game.
“The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.” - "Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them."

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

It's not a game, but the original Dragnet opening theme scared the **** out of me when I was a kid. I would cover my ears when they said the part about the names being changed to protect the innocent
What also used to scare me is when I used to go to Mexico. We would dial on the phone and pretend to call Satan. We would dial a random number but and it would say a certain phrase. Translated it says, "The person you are trying to call does not exist." It always made me go. o_o A person not existing?
While the Earthbound songs were pretty creepy, I think the creepiest in this thread was Lavender town. I heard rumours that children that listened to the original lavender towns music too much got ill and committed suicide. Apparently the part about them getting ill was proven to be true but the suicidal part wasn't. I had avoided watching suicide mouse for ages because of hearing that its one of the scariest videos ever, could give traumatic experiences etc. but I finally watched it after seeing it in this thread and the scariest bit was being worried at what the video would be like as while the screaming made me jump when it started but apart from that it really wasn't that scary.

The Lavendar Town Syndrome is 100% fake. It's just a scary story, but after you read it, it influences how you hear the music. Before I read the story, I didn't think that the Lavendar Town music was scary at all, now I can barely listen to it.

When me and my friend played The Thousand Year Door as youngins, we could barely struggle through Twilight Town. The atmosphere was so unnerving, the music was the stuff of nightmares, and everytime that freaking bell rang, we practically pooped our pants [youtube:D4E1DB7wUbY]
