Topic: The Zelda Fan Club

Anyone else here want to have a talk about the Zelda franchise? I thought it would be a good idea to me.

You should open the conversation with couple of sharp- tempered opinions about the series.

Switch the topic to "Ocarina of Time" and just post "Worst game ever." Watch the fireworks fly.

I like the Handheld Zeldas (Link's Awakening, Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks) a little more than the console ones. In my opinion Zelda was made for handhelds.

Just finished Ocarina of Time this morning (and not for the first time. I usually play it once a year)
I gotta say, it's a sweet, sweet game. And what about that Water Temple, huh? That's gotta be the easiest temple in the game. They should have made it harder.

I agree. I never had anmy trouble with the Water Temple, even on my first playthrough. I njever understood what all the fuss was about XD

Water Temple was slightly confusing, but I didn't even know there was ever any "fuss" about it until this site.

Overall, I think it took me about 20-25 hours. If this is your first time playing, though, it could take you nearly twice as long.

Well...I recently just started PWNING Twilight Princess. Just got all of the heart pieces, all of the golden bugs, all of the bottles and bomb bags, and....more poes. There are a lot of poes. How do you get all of the poes, anyway? They only seem to come out at night...

It's pretty useless to collect all the Poes. I did it once, and all it does is essentialy give you unlimited Rupees. However, it does not give you a bottomless wallet, which is what I thought it did. Basically, every time you visit Jovani's house, you get a silver rupee from Gengle the cat. Not useful at all imo, since it's not hard to find Rupees in the first place.

The Water Temple gets easier every time you play. Once you know where all the rooms lead and where everything is, it becomes a cake walk. The only room I dislike is the one where you have to walk around a bunch of cyclones while wearing the iron boots. Those cyclones can get annoying.

for me its twilight princess because it has a huge world crazy, boss fights and was the first zelda game i've ever played
I have tryed some of the old ones off the wii shop channel once my family got connected to the internet. So far OoT is alright, it is a lot harder than TP and the oldest one is also hard as well but for me I like the artstyle of wind waker and TP the best!!!

@Angaran Some of my favorites are Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and Ocarina of Time. I mainly like 3D Zelda more than 2D Zelda, but A Link to The Past is good too.

I would if Zelda hadn't gotten so dull that I can't play them anymore without falling asleep. The gazillions of better clones have made the actual Zelda seem dull in comparison.
