The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I thought that the three day limit was going to ruin the game, but it made the game actually so much more intense compared to the other Zelda games, which is a good thing in my book.

And the lesser known ATLUS RPG Knights in the Nightmare for PSP. Steep learning curve, but definitely worth it (Sorry, I just had to use that ) (Used it again. See? ) (And again.)
I would have to go with the Ace Attorney series. I heard about it from people for awhile and even didn't get the idea of what a visual novel meant. When people described it to me that all you did was pick different responses to what people say I was like WTF?? Well I finally saw a copy of the game on Amazon for like 10 dollars so I figured what the heck. After playing if for a few minutes I was hooked and it has become one of my favorite series.

How about a game where you get to be a mother-in-law who bully's your son's young wife? It'd be like in Star of the Giants where the wife wouldn't submit to you and you'd have to compete with her by trying to throw her out of the house within a certain number of months.
I remember Miyamoto saying this and I'm sure he could make it turn out as a good game.
Where my friends and I usually get stupid:

Kingdom Hearts.
Final Fantasy-like characters going through Disney worlds? That sounds stupid and childish. But after I played 358/2 days, Square Enix became my favorite 3rd Party developer. I don't know how this series worked out, but it did.

You go through the game, as ussual, then towards the end you get warped into a world where gravity has no meaning the music is depressing for a Pokemon game, it is compltely oppisite from you thought it was. And it still was bad***.
I'm not saying let's kill all the stupid people, I'm just saying let's take off the warning labels, and see what happens.

Every single arcade game ever. (And I mean actual arcade games, not Angry Birds.) Repetitively playing the same thing to try and get a higher score always seems like a ridiculous concept to me, but when a good one is pulled off I remember how fun trying to do that is.
Shout-outs to Tetris and Fix-It Felix, Jr. as well, those are both especially ludicrous ideas in my mind.
