3. Super Street Fighter IV - Crumbling Laboratory
I really did feel that the SMG song was boring. I felt that it kinda lacks substance, if that makes sense.
4. Paper Mario - Tubba Blubba
Other one was a bit too wacky for me.
1) Tales of the Abyss - Meaning of Birth
This moment can be reckless reminded me of BiT's boss theme which is nice but TotA's theme surprised me in a good way.
2) Metroid: Other M - Ridley
The track was able to convey a feeling of tension very well and it sounds just as how many good boss themes should sound.
3) Super Street Fighter IV - Crumbling Laboratory
Tough choice, But I'll have to go with SSIV since I love how dynamic and energetic it sounds. Bowser Battle was great but it could use a few more instruments.
4) Super Paper Mario - Bonechill Battle
Had to go with this for the sole purpose that it felt like a boss theme and had a bit more variety.
1.) Tales of the Abyss - Meaning of Birth > Very well made.
2.) Rhythm Thief - En Garde Jean > Ridley's theme will always be awesome, but a bit to repetitive in the long run when comparing it to full fledged musical arrangements such as 'En Garde Jean'.
3.) SMG - Bowser Battle > This was pretty close for me. I find the choir in this case to be more compelling. But I must say SSFIV's song here is seriously SUPER!
4.) SPM - Bonechill Battle > More interesting sounds going on and it felt like an actual boss theme unlike the other one.
