Topic: The NintendoLife VGM Tournament: Farewell

Ugghhhh.......................such a massive incredibly hard decision this round for me! :C

After consideration I have decided to go with.....

1.) VVVVVV: Pushing Onward - For my ears this round these two songs are dead even when it comes to a pure masterful musical arrangement. So the only way I could even consider deciding which one I enjoy listening to better was by asking myself 'how many moods can I be in while listening to this music?' I simply can listen to 'Pushing Onward' in just about any mood I'm in. Other than that I really view both of these song choices no better than the other.

2.) Earthbound: Onett - Again...evenly matched to my ears but I can listen to 'Onett' in just about any mood I'm in. I can only listen to 'Good Egg Galaxy' in a few less moods. Fantastic music this round!!

Changed my vote, I thought that Pushing Onward was the second choice, never mind that o:

Hard choice, I must say. I picked these two because I feel they fit to the theme a bit better than the others.

I hope the 'VVVVVV' song will continue to keep..........PUSHING...ONWARD......................

...Because frankly I don't see the appeal to Earthbound.
I feel like people are voting for that just because it's Earthbound... Oh well.

It's a Nintendo Forum, what can you expect? It's obvious enough by the fact that SMG and SMG2 are in the finals, and that SMG won the first tournament. I'm voting for Earthbound this time because I think it's the better song. I still think it's one of the most overrated games of all time, but that's not changing how I feel about the music from these games.

@LuigiMan200 I think Onett is an awesome song and I haven't played Earthbound (I'd love to though as it looks fantastic) just not as good as Good Egg Galaxy.

1.) Super Mario World: Overworld - I feel both of these two tracks shouldn't even be this far in this music tourney. Great tracks still but there were much more creative, longer, well put together, better tracks compared to these. By Far.

2.) SMG2: Sky Station Galaxy - Close decision but I enjoy this one a little more.

1. Castlevania Rondo of Blood - Bloodlines
Personally didn't find Mario Worlds theme(still a nice tune though) to be strong compared to the other tracks that made it far imo.

@CapnPancakes I think you miscounted the scores of the second match-up of last round; Good Egg Galaxy got six votes, won and should therefore be against Sky Station this round.

I just counted them up as well. The score was 6-4 with Good Egg Galaxy winning
