Greetings! I joined Nintendo Life a few days ago. My favorite types of games are light gun, survival horror and retro platformers/beat em' ups/fighters. The NES was my first console but I vaguely remember playing the Atari 2600 and DOS PC with my older brother.

I've been here for more than a month, but I don't really think anybody knows me, so what the heck. Hi, I'm Stine (ignore the obvious AA undertones). I'm a girl from Norway who pretty much just got into gaming for real. I got my Wii in November, and I'm in love with it. And just gotta say, this forum is a lot better (and friendlier!) than all other gaming forums I've seen.

Agreed! It just makes me sad when I see men being shocked that a girl's a gamer or everytime I hear a girl complaining that her boyfriend's gaming. Seriously? Join him! Games are awesome. Er, depends on the game of course.

Hi, friend *cough Raylax * made me sign up so here I am! Beware, I'm a huge Wario fangirl and generally love any game he is in, and really upset that hardly any platformers with him in are made anymore! Apart from that I'm normal... mostly

Welcome to nl, Yai. Nice to see another Wario fan. Both the warioware series and the Wario platformers are awesome. Do you agree with me that most of his platformers are some of the best in the genre? Of course they're not as good as Mario's though.
