Ok well tomorrow is moving day finally. Just to let you guys know I should have internet all ready to go at my new place but with Comcast you never know. So just in case I am not around for a few days well that's what went wrong.

Cutting back on the site. I can see what some users that left meant by the people that made sticking around worth it are mostly leaving. I'll mostly just comment on the front page news and anime thread. For now, everything else will be a one sentence snarky comment, usually not funny but I'll try.

Well guys! I be leaving NintendoLife just for a night because I need some sleep. So see you guys tomorrow! Good night! Don't worry I be back!

I was always told by people on this site that everyone on here was friendly. It was supposedly a haven from the usually harsh and irrational internet, but I now disagree.
My first experience with people being less than friendly on this site was on my forum https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/wii-u/demand_final_fantasy... I understand that this was a divisive issue that many disagreed with, and people weren't being particularly mean to me, but I saw the way they treated SCAR392. There were comments that I didn't find particularly nice. People told me he lied frequently, so I decided to just let it roll off my shoulder.
Then for a long time, everything appeared to be fine, but then I went to this forum: https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/other_gaming/titanfall_is_... I understand that Bashing CoD on the internet is overplayed, but there was no reason for reactions like this.

I can't believe that on a supposedly friendly site that people would make such unwarranted personal attacks. Things need to change if I want to stay here.

Oh, and before you say that it doesn't matter if I come here or not, I don't use adblock, so I am generating revenue for NintendoLife.

@Oragami Dude, you misunderstood. Aviator said "Will you start placing your Official Trash stickers on game boxes Scar?" and then I made that picture. I wasn't calling SCAR trash. I was making a mock up of what his "Stamp of Disapproval" would look like. I do not think SCAR is trash. In fact, I have defended him in other threads when people pile on and try to bash logic into his head.

@Oragami - Well personal attacks are against the rules on this site, and should be being dealt with by a moderator. A heated discussion is very different from insulting the person behind the post. Most of the time this stuff isn't a problem.

@Geonjaha So are you saying this is an exception? Or are you saying that this isn't a problem and I'm overreacting?

I am saying that this is an exception, and for the most part, it's dependant on the user - unfortunately grudges exist between specific users and it all bubbles up in particular threads like that. It is a problem that it still happens, but its nothing worth quitting the site over in my opinion because most of the time it's fairly isolated.
