I was wondering how did the Mexican / Spanish influence got the popularity during 80's and 90's era?
We got a lot of Mexican telenovela and Spanglish songs during 90's era and my local TV channels used to be aired a lot of Indonesian dubbing of Mexican telenovela such as Rosalinda, Carita de Angel, Maria Mercedes, Cassandra, etc.
There are a lot of using Spanglish lyrics during 90's such as Could I Have This Kiss Forever, Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche), Asereje, Maria by Ricky Martin, etc.
But suddenly, that Spanish popularity just gone, got replaced by Asian popularity that I admit I don't like them at all. The beautiful era from 90's and early 2000's era are gone, replaced by terrible stuffs from 2010's and 2020's era.
@Anti-Matter I assume Mexican novelas were just numerous and cheap to acquire for foreign tv stations. Now they have winded down their production considerably and there’s other things to watch.
In terms of music, well that’s just because that was a good time for pop music in Spanish. Not necessarily Mexican music mind you, just music in Spanish in general.

The Total Drama reboot is actually pretty good so far, but why did they decide to make Chef nice all of a sudden. His character did a complete 180 from the previous seasons.

@Snatcher I think you asked a couple of pages back if XC3 had the same character designer as 2? If so the main 6 (and a couple of others) were but the assorted heroes were just designed by Monolithsoft staff.

Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)
