Neko are a blessing from Japan and should be treated as such. If you don’t love Neko there is probably something wrong with you. I’m a Neko now and if you take issue with that block me

Step 1: Watch a trailer for a new game.
Step 2: Write down the release date of the new game.
Step 3: Accidentally get spoiled by the final boss's thumbnail on YouTube days before launch. (Wait what?)

I felt my Sonic games purchased are wasted, like I couldn't even play the games. 😟
Sonic Lost World 3DS was too hard even on world 1 - 2.
Sonic Heroes Gamecube was still too hard for me. (Stage 4 by Team Sonic).
Sonic Generations PS3 was too hard on early stages.
Sonic Riders Zero Gravity Wii was same too, still too hard even on the first stage.
Mario & Sonic 2008 Wii, some sports even were almost impossible to clear due to complicated control scheme.
Not sure about Mario & Sonic 2014 Wii U as I almost didn't play that game for very long time but I remembered the control scheme was fairly playable.
The only Sonic game I think I could play until finish was Team Sonic Racing PS4 as the genre is racing so it still my minor forte.
I don't think I want to consider another Sonic games as I really suck at Sonic games no matter how many times I played, it was like a curse to like Sonic games. I couldn't play with very high speed reaction as I will get panic attack by doing so. Even I have to slow down when playing Sonic games.
Oh, well...
My disappointment with Sonic games. 😞
@Eagly Yeah, I thought they sucked. I finally caved and clamed some of the DLC core crystals so I could finally give Nia a second blade that wasn't a tank (Boreas), I also got Corvin. @ComfyAko Yeah, I get that but he has some redeeming features.
Currently playing: Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Xenoblade 3 (JP dub replay) , Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, River City Girls
I mess about with pfp backgrounds way too much, sorry.
Oh, btw...
I tried to watch some LEGO games gameplay on YouTube such as marvel, star Wars, hobbit, etc but no matter how many times I saw those Western franchises in LEGO characters, I still keep frowning my face, a sign that I felt really uncomfortable to watch and digest those Western franchises. 😟
The good part was only the open world style LEGO games but the negative parts are the certain characters I recognized from those Western franchises that I still hate them even in LEGO form (the villains like joker and that red ninja).
I have ever played LEGO Jurassic on PS4 but I felt didn't click after finishing two games. I sold the game and somehow it's coming back to my mind to reconsider that game but I need to think carefully.
I wonder which LEGO games that I possibly can getting along well from the franchises that I still never getting along with.
In my mind, I was thinking LEGO World, LEGO Incredible because of Disney.
What do you think?
@Anti-Matter I think part of your problem is you can't like something if even one bit of it bugs you.
I have no clue who you mean by that red joker?
Maybe try the Marvel superhero games, I don't think they feature any villains as evil as the Joker but then again you've said you hate most western stuff. I think you'd enjoy them more if you just sort of tried to not think about the franchises they're based on whilst playing them.

@Eagly I have no clue how expensive is licensing, but it might be some issue. Building a new game is pretty expensive unless you reuse assets, map, etc. and many western developers do that. The mario one was pretty horrible, not gonna lie.
I still think of them as of AAA games, I don't know the exact budget, but in western games 95% of the budget goes to graphics, while music is composed on the knee of the guy who lost the lottery, in the bus to the office one day before the release. The writers are yet to discover the mystery of putting a sentence together correctly and the gameplay is 3 activities copied and pasted 150 times. In Japanese games more money actually goes to the music and writing, I think. I love hating on western game industry, I know it won't make them start producing anything worth more than what I have in my trash bin, but it's still soothing.
Mario 64 was a giant step forward in the graphics and worldbuilding, that's why it was so impressive back then. If you played it now, it might not seem as compelling, though. There were other pre PS2 games that were absolutely amazing - Super Metroid, Crash Bandicoot (a rival to Mario), Spyro the Dragon, Klonoa, Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 ,and many more. Maybe it's just not your time period. I got something like this, I can't like anything from 2010 to 2013 no matter how hard I try. It was just a bad period with bad memories, that's the main reason why we can't judge games objectively, I think.
@TeaCatherine I don't know if that would help in this case
@Anti-Matter The list of things you hate is longer than mine, you have my respect.
@TeaCatherine
Well, I cannot just forcing myself to like something when my natural instinct said otherwise. And just because I cannot like certain things it doesn't mean a problem for me. It was like I have to get married with somebody I never getting along well. It will be always clashed and create more drama.
Anyway, I changed my mind about getting another LEGO games after some thought again. I don't want to repeat same mistake again after I have ever played LEGO Jurassic on PS4 and it failed to impress me so I sold the game. I still felt clashed and didn't feel right to digest Jurassic franchises and that was the reason I stopped thinking about LEGO Jurassic. The only LEGO game I genuinely like is LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER as I shown genuine interest when I watched the trailer and gameplay on Wii U version for the first time 10 years ago. That was the only LEGO game didn't use popular Western franchises as the main theme so I could getting along well with the game, even I triple dipped LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER on Wii U, Switch & PS4 + 3DS version. And LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER 3DS was my first LEGO game I bought on Nintendo machine 10 years ago and I still keep it.
But meanwhile, I reconsider my decision to get all Kingdom Hearts games on PS4 after some random thought. I have ever said I stopped thinking about Kingdom Hearts games but strangely I suddenly reconsider my decision to play that game again after I felt really want to experience the free roaming Disney World in HD as looking for open world games for kids that still matched enough for me was really difficult. So it gave me different direction to find another kids games on PS4 / PS5 with free roaming or open world style that still matched with my personality. I already have some titles on my list, but I need to find more similar games like that.
