Maybe I’m just dumb, but you can get the postman’s hat before you go to help Kafei in Sakons hideout. Ive been doing the quest twice for that singular reason ever since I first played the game.
Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG
Enos 1:15
@Sunsy I've tried almost a little of everything, though I intentionally stay away from sports games lol. I enjoy some classics like Pac-Man and co., BurgerTime, Street Fighter II, Galaga, etc. There aren't too many modern cabinets that come in, though there was a fresh off the presses pinball machine we got in awhile back based on The Mandalorian. Most of the repair jobs we get are either pool tables (resurfacing usually) or older cabinets that need some TLC and slight modernization (New screens, etc.).
Come to think of it, we got in a classic Junkyard pinball cabinet earlier this week. I need to fit in a round or two on it before it moves out.
@MarioLover92 No rush when it comes to responding. Take all the time you need.
Hah...stumped! Pun intended regarding The Minish Cap I'm sure? XD Slight hint - the third dungeon is a bit of a red herring. Unfortunately it's been awhile since I played through my GBA copy, so I can't really offer advice on how to progress. I've found my bearings in Amazing Mirror thanks to a guide. Three mirror shards left.
It took me two tries to get into Twilight Princess since I became helplessly stuck/frustrated in the first dungeon my first playthrough. I hadn't played a game like it before. Ironically it was my stellar experience with Okami on the Wii that convinced me to try TP again. The two games share a few similarities but still have very different identities. I became hooked the second attempt and haven't looked back.
@Eagly I've never been a morning person, nor do I ever expect to be lol. I'm one who likes gradually waking up instead of dealing with an alarm (and if I don't set one, I risk oversleeping for work). Kind of depends on the weather too. I'm lucky if I fit in 1-2 hours of gaming many weeknights. Besides work, I also own/maintain a house, do chores, need to run errands, am involved with some occasional volunteer stuff, and also fit in exercise. I prep and eat most of my meals too and have a food prep night 1-2 times a week on average.
Some open world formats are indeed repetitive, so I definitely hear you when you say you look for a twist to the formula lol.
I highly recommend Final Fantasy VI if you don't mind classic 16-bit JRPGs with random encounters. The game is one of the best from that era IMO. Sad that your Wii U is broken. XCX would be a great port candidate. I had thought the worlds were drifting back apart at the end of XC3 to avert disaster, hence the two groups' separation? I had hoped the DLC would address a re-merge of sorts - and I thought this was implied in the end - where the two separated worlds were no longer stagnant. Basically a retry... hopefully through different means.
YouTube seems to be desperately trying to make me watch videos in Spanish… Which is weird because the ones it keeps sneakily slipping into my home page are not even about topics that interest me.
@Colonel_Mustache I mean, I’m used to the home page having little spots for the news and stuff with videos in spanish, that much is normal. But lately it seems they’ve been injecting several of the random “popular in your country” videos from the other tabs into the main home page… which would usually be filled only with videos related to my actual interests.
Fed up with thumbnails that blatantly spoil final bosses for me (and surprise twists, like for Paper Mario: The Origami King, isn't that right, PROFASIA?!), I downloaded an extension on Chrome that hides videos on the front page and sidebar.
